Do guys just give a girl a line of BS or are they being somewhat truthful.

I never like any type pics of myself, but lately it seems my pics of me are better than in person. I always get many compliments when someone looks at my profile on a dating site, and then if I send someone a pic they say I am pretty. But that last 2 dates I had ended up being duds....I'm not sure if I was what they expected!

The one date went really well until the next day....or should I say days of not knowing until I finally said...oh well. The other was just a casual meeting, but again he didn't seem impressed....and quite frankly either was I. I'm not too superficial and I don't judge a guy solely on his looks, but I know many men who do.

I have dated a few guys short term and they always said I looked pretty, and they seen me at my worst sometimes. I just don't get it!!! I'm starting to think that maybe the last 2 guys thought I wasn't in there league.....this is not usually how I think at all!! but when they showed up for the date they didn't seem to care how they were dressed, but I made sure I looked good. I didn't wear a dress or skirt, just a nice tops with some capris....but maybe too much of a high maintenance look....IDK :( :(

Just because someone is pretty doesn't mean you'll be are attracted to them.
There could be other factors, like their body that turns someone off.
And then sometimes, you just don't hit it off in person.

well, I don't know. If your finding these people on the internet that's probably the only reason why. Using the internet is a good way to rack up the number of dates for a guy.

Their lack of interest may not have anything to do with your looks at all. There's a connection that happens in the brain called limbic resonance that lets us know when we're attracted to someone and vise versa. It's that feeling you get, whether platonic or romantic, when you see or meet someone that says, "Hey I like you. You're part of my tribe." :) So how did "you" feel about these guys?

Keep dating and remember; you're not looking for just anyone, you're looking for someone you share a natural connection with. :)
