I thought id ask a silly question but it did make me think, if 2 androgynous people meet what is the correct greeting, do they shake hands in a manculine way or embrace and a peck on the cheek in a feminie way. what would one do in such a situation :0) personally i think that andrognous people should all high 5 each other in a none gender style greeting. Right il go back to bed now ive asked this very important question.

Assuming I don't know the person at all, I'd probably welcome them with a smile and assess from their reaction whether they want to shake hands or hug or high five or what. After I get to know them better we probably would determine what works best between us as a greeting.

"Hi" works.

And I didn't think shaking hands was necessarily masculine and hugging and cheek kissing was necessarily feminine.  I thought it was cultural, with shaking hands being standard in the US and hugging and cheek kissing being more common in some parts of Europe, for example.

Well, if I knew the person was Androgyne (it's not like we wear signs), I might glomp them...so watch out!    (for those of you not in the 'know', a 'glomp' is something of a flying tackle...heh)

Usually when I meet someone, I just say "hi".  If they offer a hand, I shake it, if they hug me, I hug back...I just go with the flow.   

I think we should do it vulcan style "live long and prosper"

I greet them like any other aquaintance, with a "hello" or something like that. I reserve things like kissing and hugging for people who are close friends of mine, regardless of gender.

What should my boyfriend introduce me as, girlfriend? boyfriend? spivakfriend?! mixedfriend?!! I don't know, so I'm asking the opinion of the people here.

My shrine and wardrobe is almost complete, soon I will begin transition to become NO_ID #2! hahahahaha...
