Cool. I think I will give of these a try on my kindle. I like to read, and I mostly read fantasy, but I've been searching for FTM fiction for some time now, and never really found any. Maybe I will start writing it!

We read Stone Butch Blues in class. A very old book and not exactly ftm, but the character went through a lot (T, top surgery etc.). And this book pushed me right into transition.

Sacred Country - Rose Tremain.

Not the happiest, but good anyway. I might be biased as it's set where I grew up.

I have a few non-fiction books that are FTM-based. From the Inside Out - Radical Gender Transformation, FTM and Beyond by Morty Diamond, and Becoming a Visible Man by Jamison Green.

Haven't found, or bought, any fiction.

"After Jesus and rock and roll, couldn't save my immoral soul, well, I've got nothing left, I've got nothing left to lose." 'Nothing Left to Lose' - The Pretty Reckless

Call me Reuben Damian/Toby
Preferred pronouns - He, His, Him | Orientation - "Straight" | Future surgeries - Mastectomy, Hysto, Vaginectomy, & hopefully Phallo.

It's not mainly FTM based but the book called Kafka On The Shore had an FTM character in it.
I am male because I say so and nothing more.
I don't have to look or act like one therefore.

He's a great character. Him and Nakata make that story. Murakami has a lot of "alternative lifestyle" characters. I really like his writing.

I only know of biographical stuff that was written by ftms. Most ftm fiction I've found is written by women. That's fine, but I've found that their presentation and writing of the character is... Disingenuous. I haven't read everything, but what I have read turned me off of looking. I would use this to plug my novel, but I'm still looking through editors. ;p

Really though, there is much less about ftms it seems. At least that's been published professionally.
