Another post about spiders . . . honestly it never ends

Which reminds me, it's that hobo spider time of year
You could always take the fight to them

That spider story was a great read. My mom has always been scared of spiders.
I'm glad you liked it. At least your mum doesn't have to deal with the camel or huntsman spider.
You were right about spiders trying to get into your bed, I had close call a while ago (story and picture below). I think next time I will try to capture one and interrogate it, also it will finally give me the chance to get a nice close up picture

Was the spider made aware beforehand of your rules? If not, then I hope his relatives sue...
well it was a tegenria domestica, since they're supposed to be "house" spiders I thought they would have good manners but if they decide to sue then it will cause problems . . . after I was finished dealing with the spider my dog came up the stairs to investigate the commotion. I thought nothing of it at first but then I noticed something. In the doorway I saw the mangled remains of another spider, he trampled it to death by accident. I don't think he knows how to fight a legal battle but he might have to learn quickly.
After the "incident" that happened a few days ago I thought it was all over, two spiders now lay dead. I thought it would be all clear so I relaxed a began to read some manga late at night. The shadows masked the walls of my room, the only source of light came from my electronic device. I thought the manga I was reading was rather . . . risqué and some of the characters were clearly insane. I also thought about becoming a fanfiction writer even though my writing and reading skills are sub-par.
Minutes flew by as I continued to read the manga. My eyes were starting to tire and I finally tore my attention from the screen. At that moment I noticed the assassin, poised to strike, mere centimetres above my head. Immediately I leapt into action, as I scrambled for the light switch I knew I had a perfect opportunity to take a good picture. I strolled up to the spider, device in hand ready to take the picture.
Before taking the picture I decided to watch the spindly spider's legs in action for a while. Suddenly the spider detached itself from the wall, landed on the bed and scurried across the pillow. My mood faltered, my perfect picture moment had been lost and now I could not go back to sleep. The spider was quite intelligent. It used the pillow's shadow to avoid the light.
Unfortunately for the spider I was getting tired and it had broken rule # 4 and almost managed to break rule # 2. I really wanted to got to sleep but I did not want to share my pillow with the spider so I prepared to terminate it. Again I pulled the bed away from the wall and prepared to strike but it was incredibly fast, it managed to avoid the first two blows. Frustration began to build up, I simply couldn't land a decisive hit.
It makes not a sound when it moves, its natural colour helps it to blend in with the shadows, it had incredible speed and agility but in the end it was no match for me. When the spider took refuge under a discarded sock it didn't know that it had made a grave mistake, it should've tried to run not hide. That momentary lapse in evasion gave me the chance I wanted. I managed to defeat the spider with a single devastating blow.
Now that three spiders lay dead I thought it was over. But then, a few days later, I noticed another spider scurrying across the floor wile I was downstairs playing video games. I am certain that is the last one. I just have to find it before it finds me . . .

Anyway back on topic. Today . . . today I hurt myself. I know what some people might think about that
'only a fool would hurt themselves' ect. But it was a complete accident.
The injury, which is minor/insignificant, was caused by a dream. Usually I like to have evidence or a source to back up my claims but this time there's only my word so I'll understand if this is unbelievable.
When I was younger my mum would come into my room at night and see the same thing often. Me, lying sprawled out on the floor. My sister also told me that she came into my room one night and saw me sit up, she tried to talk to me but didn't get a reply because I was asleep. She was confused so she questioned me in the morning, I was simply dumbfounded.
Recently i've being having having dream "fights". I don't often have dreams but when I do sometimes things will get violent. The sudden movement of my fist flying straight into the air will usually wake me up. Now I think that this is extremely odd because I only sleep on my front/side but when I awake i'm on my back.
Now i'm wondering how often I move in my sleep. I'm considering recording myself for a few nights to see if I do anything unusual.
This recent event has left me feeling drained and still slightly confused. This is the first time i've harmed myself because of a dream and I hope it will be the last.
I'm going to take a quick nap now, I think it will do me good
