Shameless camwhoring here!

Yeah, those were four of (practically) the same photo.  I quite like that look, but I'd only really dress like that for a night out.

Wow, you look great, love the goth look!

Just returning home from a short trip to the mainland. I have lost my smartphone in the flight, but Google has backed up some photos in my web storage.

I guess this summer is over here.

barbie~~
Barbie your looking fabulously gorgeous as always. I especially like this one -so tranquil, content, and happy you look.

It has been my experience that usually the people that hate freckles are the people who have them.

When I was a kid, someone told me that rubbing goat pee on your face would get rid of the freckles.  So I spent a solid week trying to figure out how to get my hands on some goat pee.  When I finally summoned the courage to ask my dad where I could get some, he told me it wasn't true and wouldn't work.  I. Was. Devastated.  :(

But now as an adult I love my freckles.  Covering my beard forces me to cover them up with makeup, but after a wee bit-o-laser they'll come out of hiding.

Now that you've moved to the PNW we just properly refer to freckles as rust spots KatieJ!  :D

Allyda, thanks. My friend took the photo for me, and some people seemed to like it when I posted it on Facebook.
I used to complain to him about his poor skill of photography, but actually he is a kind of amateur photographer.

Hi Barbie,

just wanted to say that your last set of photos--like pretty much all the photos of you I've seen so far--are really inspiring to me. You just seem to exude this wonderful confidence, and it's things like that that make me want to try going out in girl mode more, dressed in whatever way I feel most like myself. Also, that dress looks great on you.

Finally got a pair of jeans that fit right!

Also, I think my freckles are multiplying, remember I wear Dermablend Creme Cover Foundation so, I mean without foundation my freckles are much more apparent

You look amazing, Hikari! I would never have guessed you weren't cis had I come upon your photo somewhere unrelated to trans* identity. And I think your freckles actually look really cute on you.  :) But that's the great thing about Dermablend, which I also use--you can cover up virtually anything you don't want to show.

Yes. Gabby. People are far more accepting than I had expected.

Young students in my university say that I just look a little bit weird as I sometimes wear miniskirt, but anyway I am a good lecturer, and they do not mind my appearance so much. A problem is that they usually do not show that kind of respect to aged, male professors. They first think I am very friendly, but later are surprised at my strict discipline.

Some of aged, senior professors here joke like "Do not be too much pretty, as it sometimes makes a fuss." In meeting with other people, some people comment that my makeup is too much strong or that my skirt is too short, looking like a slut. In that case, I try to wear light makeup. My wife also comments negatively on my wearing too short skirts.

My little daughter at age 10 knows very well that I am a very, very special dad, sometimes admonishing me not to wear makeup or skirt. But she seems to already give up.

A few guys comment that I look awful, because I have a gut to defy all stereotypes of our society.

In over all, I think I have worried too much about reactions of other people. Of course, initially most people showed negative reactions, but nowadays few people say negatively on my appearance. Especially young girls are very curious about my new fashion items, asking all things about them. For example, I wore 5-inch heels a few days ago, and the two female graduate students asked about the size and price, commenting that they seldom wear such high heels.

My wife does not allow me to wear this dress outdoors, because it is too short. Before the summer ends, I just wear it indoors. If it is indeed too short, I have to throw it away.

Sure, the dress is short, but it looks lovely on you, and your legs are absolutely amazing, almost seems criminal to hide those amazing legs behind a long dress.

You really do look fabulous Barbie!

There are a lot of people who would think so, and no doubt it is hard to sit down, bend over and get back up in a ladylike fashion, but who really cares when you have such great looking long stems on you Barbie? Better listen to your spouse though, she's probably right!

I don't think it's too short. It looks stunning on you with those shoes. If your wife thinks it shows too much, would she be okay with you wearing it will tights underneath after the summer ends?

I hope you don't have to throw it away!

barbie~~

Too short is a matter of perspective. Remember there was a time when visible ankles was "too short". If you are comfortable in it then it isn't too short for you. If she isn't comfortable with you in it then it is too short for her. Ergo, it is only too short to the degree you want to sacrifice to make her comfortable.

BTW Barbie, you look fantastic. The dress isn't my thing (I don't do floral!) but it looks great on you.

I agree with your wife.  And it's not a trans/cis thing...it's just too short.  You do have dynamite legs though!  :)

Wearing tights or jeans under it could help you pull it out of the closet in colder weather.

Oh. Thanks for positive comments, Hikari, Shantel, Gabby, Annabella, katiej and stephaniec,

Yes. In Facebook, replies from my friends were similar. Some of them think it is too short.
It can easily reveal my buttocks....
I think the major reason is that I am far taller than an average woman here.
My wife also suggests that I have better wear it with leggings or tights.
Yes. I can wear it in fall.
Thanks again for comments!
