Ive been off HRT for over a week. I have to see my endo so she can renew my prescription but I cant afford it until I start driving. Or my settlement comes through.

my dysphoria is begining to change from the slight wisper to full on screaming in my head. But I was wondering, how long before my body begins masculinize again?

I'm really nervous about waking up and being called Sir again.

About as long as it has taken you to feminize? And probably much longer depending how far gone the two little boys are.

It will depend on how long you've been on HRT to begin with and how advanced those changes have become. Just like being on HRT didn't create dramatic visible changes over night the same is true in reverse. Many people about to go in for SRS have to stop HRT for several weeks - and while it may make them cranky it doesn't undo the changes.

Cool. I wouldn't leave it too long though as you may not be able to go back onto the same strength straight away.

I wont. I get insurance the day I start work. So I will be able to have my physical done again soon.

I stopped spiro from may 23 to July 21 and only took E and P and my facial hair started growing much faster, I started being called sir, and I felt I looked much more masculine. Get back on ASAP. Not trying to scare you but this is what happened to me with just the loss of spiro and I had my T levels checked and they were undectable, so there is some other mechanism going on. This isn't in my head. I couldn't pass as male for the life of me b4 I stopped spiro and then i started getting a case of the sir's, not only that but my boobs shrank I think.

But, after three weeks of being back on spiro (my insurance covers it so it was all unnecessary; I'm such an idiot), I'm back to where I was if not much further along and no longer pass as male again even with no makeup.

Last time when I was having that wise idea about quitting HRT for a while, I woke up to something vaguely resembling a morning erection on day 4, and realised that probably it was not very good idea to being with. Was quite amazed about speed how things happened though.

I've had to go off hrt before because I couldnt afford the estrogen and Spiro. I was off for almost a month and I swear it screwed with my self perception. I woke up one moring and my appearance in the mirror was quite distorted thanks to the dysphoria. I know it was all in my head but I will never forget how F'd up I felt.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had to come off HRT for about 3 weeks last year (I was about 3 years into it, at the time), and I honestly have not noticed much changes at all during those 3 weeks. I felt a bit more depressed, more lethargic, and hints of dysphoria were starting to come back, but that's about it. I definitely noticed no physical changes.
