First, I'm new to the forums here, but have used the site for a long time as a resource (so thank you all, and thanks in advance for any help you can give me!)

I've been responding very well to HRT and doing aggressive electro, and after only half a year I'm having to work harder and harder to hide the changes and present male. But I also have a ton of brow bossing and a crappy hairline that are going to make it really hard to present female.

I don't want to go the full FFS route because I'm so early in the process and don't know how my face shape will continue to change. But I do want to fix my forehead (which is bone and won't change), and I've heard it pays to do the nose at the same time.  I've got a decent budget - I'd prefer to spend no more than about $15K but I'm flexible - so what I'm really looking for is the doctor that does the best job with both foreheads and noses. I live in the Eastern U.S. but can travel.

Any suggestions?

Thank you so much.  I've also heard that DiMaggio is very good with these things; my only concern would be the great distance to travel - what if something goes wrong?

If DiMaggio is the best then I will travel. But is there a closer doc that does decent work? I've heard mixed things about both Zukowski and Spiegel. The trade-off is they'd be much easier to get to and I would have friends to stay with to recover in either Boston or Chicago.

im really thinking about going with either dr.z or dr. s but ive heard that if you need alot of work dr. speigel may not be the surgeon for you becuase his approach is very careful. ive heard some women claim that they feel he wasnt aggro enough for them, but for tgirls that are already somewhat possible or andro, they have really great reviews of him. ive heard dr. z's patients are goreous but alot of them end up looking very similar in asthetics, and maybe in certain lights, even fake or "too perfect". not that he does bad work but that hes so aggressive that sometimes the work is so good it gives itself away as not looking natural if that makes sense. ive heard that dr. bart in belgium is a good medium and i really am considering him, but im from the states and my mom is footing the bill and she is really pushing me to not leave the country, becuase she doesnt want to go with me out of the states.

I'm looking to be very aggressive with my forehead because I have such pronounced brow bossing. I figured that Dr. S might be good because he does Type III; I'll need to look for some examples of people with brows like mine who've gone to him. I'm not sure how Dr. Z's endoscopic strategy could work for me but if his results are good I don't care and I'm not looking to get my entire face done. (I am currently scheduling a consult with both of them as well as MDM so samantha you can relax  ) I've looked at Dr. Bart's site and it seems he does a lot of forehead filling which gives a look I don't particularly like - but someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that one.

Right now my list is MDM (aggressive results), Cardenas (price), Z and S (location). I think they all do decent work; some better than others but all acceptable. If there's another doctor in the U.S. I should be looking at or a doc in Europe whose prices aren't exorbitant, please let me know!

Each time Dr. Dimaggio uses "Samantha" to sell himself he looks more and more needy, which I think is the opposite to what patients would expect to find in a surgeon regardless of how good his results might look sometimes.

Does anyone have any idea what Dr. Dimaggio charges for type 3 forehead remodeling and rhinoplasty?

If the PA's of the various FFS groups do not stop the self aggrandizement of their group  I shall ban you.

If the PA's can give unbiased supportive information fine. Otherwise you will not have access to the site.

I also want people who are linked to various FFS groups to publicly state so in each post. Otherwise that post will be removed.

$15k is a reasonable expectation and I think you can do this, with recovery, OR, anathesia and all.

Anyone can do your nose. Dr. Z kind of has a reputation for giving the same nose, which I think is a good nose, so make sure you like that. Dr. S does a good job. Now one thing you should also consider is a lip lift, because a rhinoplasty and the tip pointing up can accentuate the distance between nose and upper lip. It might not be a problem for you but it is for some girls here.

Forehead depends on the magnitude. Dr. Z does endoscopic, which works well on a type 2 maybe type 3. He does not do reconstruction. Dr. S does. So if you are type 3 or higher that is something to take into consideration.

I only extensively studied the US doctors. I have no input on DMG or Dr. C.

Dr. Meltzer in Scottsdale, AZ did my forehead and nose.  I had a type 3 forehead (+) a prominent hump in my nose, and I am very happy with my results.

Meltzer seems to have some good reviews here. I checked out his site and there are almost no before&after images though. I want to be able to evaluate the surgeon's work - do you know where I can find some more examples?

I can only agree with Celia that he must be very needy indeed to send you here to pull in clients. BTW, there seems to be a huge contradiction between your affirmation above that "most of her patients are from the USA" and you constantly popping up to plug his services when  all of these satisfied patients should be doing it of themselves, no?

When I went to his office for a consultation, he showed me a lot of before and after pictures; just send them an email, and they will probably share some with you.

I am extremly happy with the work of Facial Team. They have two locations, one in Brazil and one in Europe. No one every thinks that I had a face surgery, five months after surgery thw scar is nearly invisible and my look 100% natural feminine.
I had not pain after surgery only a little bit discomfort. I could breath through my nose when I woke up even with having a rhinoplasty.

Well, I've managed to contact about five doctors, including most of those mentioned here.

I've gotten numbers back from several of them and am consulting with a few others over the next few weeks.
I'll post some general info when I've got all the data - I figure that regardless of which I pick the information will be useful for other ladies to review in the future.

I will rephrase for you (this is directed at you)

#1 stop promoting MDM, because you work for him and that is a conflict here.

#2 feel free to provide information about the procedures and costs, but biased information such as saying he is "the best" or comparing him to other doctors' talent will get you banned.

#3 state that you work for MDM in every post you make.

I figured people might want to know, so after exploring all of my options and talking with a number of people I've decided to go with Zukowski. While his work on foreheads might not be as extreme as some other doctors, I find his results convincing, his staff the most attentive and professional, and his demeanor the most pleasant to work with.

I expect that even if we are not able to eliminate 100% of the issues with my forehead, my overall appearance will be improved the most by a visit to Dr. Z.

I'll try to post B&A pics when I go for the actual procedures.
