So a friend of mine really likes to write letters. He hand-writes letters to magazines, DIY zines, and... skaters in prison! A couple weeks ago, he made an impromptu jaunt down to Philly, and we went out skating. It's the first time he'd seen me since I transitioned. We hit up a number of skatespots, got some food and drink, and he picked up a handful of postcards before heading back to New York.

So he wrote a story about me on one of the postcards. Keep in mind, my friend is not up-to-date on trans terminology. He uses some phrases that could offend the thin-skinned, but it's only out of not knowing. It's what's in his heart that counts.
