For me, it would be dying with the people I love.  Odd as that sounds.

My daughter is getting married in less than 6 months and I haven't even started looking for a dress.

The children with leukemia I see at the hospital where I work.  They endure endless hours of chemotherapy and feel very ill after each treatment; that makes me very sad.  Knowing that some of them are winning the battle against this terrible disease makes me very happy.

Life.  If you didn't feel sad from time to time, you would not be able to appreciate feeling happy.

Child protection work. It means that a child may be rescued from an abusive situation, but it also means that they may be separated from the person or people they love. There is no right answer in those cases, all we can do is try and do the least harm.

Happy = new job openings
Sad = smaller tax base

happy = my mom. she loves me & makes me feel better all da time
sad= my mom's gray hair.  she aint gettin any younger.

Happy: deciding to start mtf, accepting my feelings.

Sad: wishing I started a lot earlier.

Happy - splitting up with my ex-wife and knowing that I was finally being honest with myself about my feelings and who I was.
Sad - Knowing that I would miss her a lot and that it would be hard losing my life companion.

I had those feelings when we first split, but we're doing great, we talk every day and we're very close friends, like we've always been.

Elderly People

Happy-The stories they tell
Sad-They're old and close to death

The beauty of real Music, talent, the absolute purity of a song.  It is happy to hear, but sad to know the end is coming nigh.  There is so much that can be done with music, a happy thought, or a sad memory.  It makes me so happy and sad to hear a true song.

Happy- I start full time in a few months
Sad- This is going to hurt some people

my brothers death

my brother had aids and died at age 32 I was sad that he died and left us all. but near the end he was in constant pain and I was happy to know his pain was over

knowing I have no Canadian quarters.

Happy because of the amazing potential it promises.
Sad because of the potential threat.

Happy = Receiving my salary
Sad = Spending it straight away

Happy-Having the change to transition one day so I can feel closer in the body I should have been born in.

Sad-The complications that can come with my body type which can result in a faster death and the very high possibility of rejection from loved ones and going homeless.
