I didn't feel a thing with the right ear and only a tiny pain with the left. Electrolysis hurts much worse. I had to get smaller 3mm CZ's (I wanted 5mm) because I needed starter earrings with a long post but they're still pretty. After 6 weeks I'll go back and get the larger ones I wanted.

The girl who was helping me asked me why I was getting my ears pierced and I told her that I was transitioning. She smiled and was genuinely happy for me and told me about someone she just pierced a few days ago who was also transitioning. She told me how she was able to help her find starter earrings to match the streak of purple in her hair so it was a really nice experience.

I totally love my new earrings.

Congratulations! Must have been really exciting!  I remember the first time I had mine pierced. I've had them re-pierced a few times over the years though, but it's always exciting!
