Greetings everyone,

SO.. a week from now I'll be having surgery with Dr. Suporn and have questions regarding post-operative life. Some of them are a bit odd.. others are just a curiosity so please don't hang me from a lint roller over them! (pleeeeaaassee :) )

1) Sex life after Post-Operative surgery. I myself have literally been a virgin for nearly 30 years now (getting GRS just before my 30th) as the current genitalia completely went against my desires and wants for intercourse while making me sick from the idea of what I had. I'm not sure how many have actually made it to post-op without actually having intercourse pre-operative because of their existing genitalia. Normally I have a very minimal if any libido as a result .. however, at this point my libido has skyrocketed the more the date gets closer at the thought of finally being able to feel normal after full recovery. I cannot act on this libido though at this time nor long after recovery which is highly frustrating.

QUESTION: Has anyone else been in this situation and how was your libido just before and then after the full recovery process? Was sexual desire a strong thought during your transition at all besides feeling complete?

2) Dilation curiosities. I'm aware of the normal regimen for dilation during the first several months to a year of recovery and after some time all that is needed is the occasional dilation once a week or so to keep depth. I've been strongly stuck on the idea of a chastity belt as part of a lifestyle choice for many years but never had the anatomy for the task. Which then begs the question of...

QUESTION: What are your thoughts on a regimen of constant dilation long after recovery? What are ones thoughts of it being done through a constant device such as that of a chastity belt with insert? ANyone try this and experienced any complications at all down the road?

re: libido after surgery, I didn't have any for at least two months just from being completely tired all the time and sensations taking a long while to come online.

re: dilating 24/7 with a chastity belt/harness of some sort, although it would be convenient and save a lot of time (and fulfill fantasies maybe) it would be really dangerous and a terrible idea I think. You're way too fragile to be putting that kind of stress on your neovagina early on, the lateral movement of the dilator would probably be the easiest way to tear sutures and get a vaginal-anal fistula happening I can think of. You'd be able to feel it's a bad idea as soon as you twist to one side to grab your phone or something just out of reach when you start dilating ;)

Even after you're well healed I think it would be dangerous to use a dilator sized insert because you're not supposed to be moving those every which way, and if you used a smaller one for safety it's questionable whether it would achieve the same results but after a long period of time it might be safe to do it with something small and flexible just for the fetish angle, not the dilation requirement.

**edit - just realised you did say "long after recovery", apologies I missed that. Points are the same though, I don't think it would be terribly safe for a ciswoman either unless it were something small and flexible that wouldn't really be dilating.

libido: me too, it's just too torn up (and worn out from dilating) to do anything with it. But once it heals... ;)

dilating: it's funny how often this question comes up, and how on their first dilation the person asking finally "gets" what we mean by our answers. Nothing like experiential learning! :)
