Hii :)

I have researched a lot about this condition, however I have not found much information other than the genes involved (SRY negative or positive) and some implications, like hypospadias for 10-15% of those affected. But I don't actually understand if there any "tell-tale" signs someone can have this syndrome. So basically a phenotypic male can have this condition and have no clue at all?

Thank you for reading

I don't know what to say. I never went to a doctor specifically to check this condition. But I think I may have low testosterone levels, since I am nearly 18 and never masculinized completely: I have a very high voice, sparse facial hair and body hair, no libido seriously, mood changes and more will be TMI... so yes, I dunno! But I was just curious about this condition, I thought it was interesting.

thank you for reading,

I have De La Chappelle Syndrome. That's what it's called. I don't like the phrase XX Male. But, most, but not all, people who have it do not know and only find out when trying to impregnate their wife, since they can't as they're hypspadic. But there aren't neccesarily symptoms and many are not trans. For me, I have a petite body, small everything (hands, feet, 13.5 inch shoulders, 5'5, 120 lbs.) and in fact the only thing big one me was my thighs. I have really fatty thighs and have stretch marks all over the insides. I also started growing boobs at age 11.

You could take a Karotype test. However, I was also born with ambigous genitalia and there might be something else going on as well. They corrected that though and I guess around there I'm more male then female, obviously now, but I get yeast infections and other female typical ailments. As far as development of the thing, it's not anything close to being normal and is tiny lenght and girth wise. But thankfully not a micro penis as it will be needed in a year.

Hope this helps. BTW, why do you think you have low T? From the libido issues. I had zero libido most of my life and rarely thought about sex.

Obviously you are a woman, I mean no offense, I just used the technical term I knew

I think I have low testosterone because: I am nearly 18 and don't have any beard almost no facal hair whatsever just chin and upper lip and they are tiny (started growing at around 14), by this rate I won't ever have one, a high voice which I probably strain and I am trying to get it down because it is around 300-310Hz but i don't think it would be ever be male sounding, little body hair, no libido at all, low energy and that is all.

Interesting.  I just read the Wikipedia page on that and gotta say no real way of checking symptoms.
Basically, it almost also sounds like Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome .

For me, I believe I have PAIS becuase
1. When I started on estrogen, I wasn't having all the changes everyone talks about.  I didn't gain weight, or have mood swings.
2. Based on what I have read, my skeletal system is in the female range, including having wide hips.
3. My adam's apple never developed right. My voice seems to be kinda in the middle.
4. I have a very tiny penis (just a tad bit bigger than Micropenis), and my testicles are in the range of mid puberty, and never really dropped.
5. My hrt doctor said that my body still had higher a bit higher degree of testosterone even on Spiro, but clearly I'm not masculine at all (except the facial hair).

I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

I really can't say. PAIS often reflects in your genitalia, making it ambiguous. And I don't have ambiguous genitalia at all. Just maybe a phenotype that is not fully masculinized/under-virilized.

Thank you for the info :)

Well for me, as far as I know they looked normal at birth, but they are very underdeveloped.
There are quite a few different mutations of the AR gene that still cause PAIS.
You could talk with you doctor to find out more too.
