Guy bucket list

I recently tried brainstorming a list of things I wanted to do that I could only do while I was still a guy. I only came up with two things:

  • Get a fancy barber shop shave
  • Go to a strip club?

I'm getting the shave tomorrow which will be interesting. Plus it's the first time I've gone without a goatee in years. I'm not sure how my toddler son will take it. I've heard kids can really freak out about their dad getting rid of facial hair.

As for the strip club, I'm not so sure. I'm not that interested and I could always go as a girl if I really wanted to anyway.

Anything else anyone can think of for a guy bucket list?

go to a parts store and actually have them think you might know what you're doing?

A tailor made pin stripe suit.

Properly adjusted a suit always looks good on somebody, male or female. But the images I've always seen of somebody picking the cloth and being measured have been guys, and if I ever did that it would have to be a pinstripe

Strip clubs to me, are just... meh. The last one I went to was Scores in Vegas about a decade ago and I got a lap dance and all but it was more of a chore than anything.

There's really nothing I would want to do as a guy that I couldn't do as a woman. I really can't think of anything. Rock climbing? Sky diving? Mountain climbing? I can do that in a female form.

I actually had to get a suit back in May for my cousin's bachelor party. I've never liked wearing suits so it was my first time buying one, I'd always rented in the past for special events. It felt like a waste of money when I bought it and considering I probably won't be wearing it again for obvious reasons I guess it turns out I was right! Oh well, maybe I can sell it on craigs list or something...

Just get ready for one heck of a rash where the goatee is. I kept on for a year and my god when I got rid of it. It took about 2 weeks for the razor burn to go away and never grew facial hair again. I don't even go a day without shaving anymore.

As for strip clubs, where do bi girls or lesbians go? Of course being bi I can hit the male strip clubs too without guilt. >:-)

But other than that. I have no bucket list. I never really cared for being a guy anyway. Most of the stuff guys enjoy I just really never cared for. Even the strip club. I would rather go to a club that I can be a flirt and so on. Yeah, I know I'm weird, but why change now? :P

I foolishly got a fast car when I was younger and regret not putting the money towards my transition. Having a hot rod was on my bucket list since I was a kid. Used to go to strip clubs when I was heavily in denial too, but it wasn't on any of my lists.

And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

I hope you are not thinking a threesome with two girls...because it is not that great.

As for me, the only things I can think of is going to Vegas as a high roller so the showgirls would swoon all over me, and judge a bikini contest...but then again, I suppose it is plausible enough for me to get these things done whether I am male or female.

I've actually been thinking about this very thing lately.  There's nothing on my list that I couldn't do as a woman.  But some of the things just wouldn't be on most women's list.  The following are a few from my actual list:

  • Run with the bulls in Spain
  • Go to every major league baseball stadium
  • Own a cigar bar/lounge
  • Sub 80 score for round of golf
  • Play Pebble Beach
  • Own a Triumph motorcycle

And I still really, really want to do all these things!

I pretty much did the one thing I had to do before beginning that awkward period between going full-time and getting surgery: I took ballet (since it would be hard to hide my anatomy in a pair of tights).  But when and if I get surgery I can pick that up again so it's not a big deal.

I can't think of anything...  Most of the things I really enjoy are things I can do as a woman and I can't say I have any regrets.
*Started HRT January 2013
*Name and gender marker changed September 2014
*Approved and issued letters for surgery September 2015
*Surgery Consultation November 2015
*Preop electrolysis October 2016-March 2019
*GRS April 3 2019
I DID IT!!!
