Michelle resorts to fear tactics when she says transgender people are child predators and this law would protect their predatory behavior

How many transpeople get convicted of crimes against children every year?

Yup, didn't think so.

I'm sorry.  People will hurt children over my dead body.

When will this idiot with the clown car vajayjay just go away?

Don't think this is especially effective, as much as I agree with the sentiment. Restricting transgender bathroom use is a terrible idea for a very common sense reason - trans women have nowhere else to go but the women's room and trans men have nowhere else to go other than the men's room. The "predator" argument proven absurd simply because there has never been a case of a predator claiming to be transgender to get away with anything.

The author misses the chance to make the simple points and instead rambles about famous trans people. I don't think it's going to win many hearts.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Never.  These kind of people seem popular, which is why they keep getting their own un-reality shows.  We are on the verge of losing shows like Mythbusters, yet stuff like hers and Duck Dynasty are still on air.

I actually find arguments like hers to be ignorant from the onset.  It's not like there are security guards at the doors to restrooms checking to make sure that people have the appropriate genitalia.  So, you actually have no idea who you are standing next to in a restroom.

Hey, watch it now. I am from that state and yes growing up I lived in a trailer for while and then a house. These people are not "trailer park trash." Contrary to popular belief, lower income people are a lot more accepting of others than the 200,000 dollar home people. The 200,000 dollar home people are more often than not the close minded people out of the two. Let me put it this way, all those like the Duggers, I had a boyfriend whose dad was a preacher in a church and probably would have been killed or exorcised if his mom and dad found out he had a girly "boy" girlfriend. And believe me, he was in no way innocent when it came to other things either. I was wild, this guy was freakin' animal. I have a funny feeling that some of the Duggers aren't that innocent either.

Let us debate the story and not make blanket judgements on others.

No bashing or flaming.

I started to read the comments. Why did I start to read the comments? Oh, God, why?

A lot of skeptics don't understand by not doing anything they could make it worse possibly make people with gd have psychotic breakdowns etc. Perhaps we need a law stating if you have more than three kids you have to have tubes tied and Vasectomy or testicles removed all sends a vasectomy can be undone

Oh c'mon LordKAT. I was joking with Amy. I've heard it all and believe me none of it offends me. I just figured out. I didn't use any smileys. But seriously though no harm done and I am in no way offended. I just hope I didn't make Amy feel bad. :'( That would make me feel bad.

Of course **** *** does sound like a good name for a band. Hmm. You ain't gonna' charge me for the rights to use it, are you Amy? ;)

She has like 20 kids. I absolutely cannot wait for the inevitable coming out of one or more of them... >:-)

Oh, Ashlotte. Its' just a matter of time. When 19 or 20 and counting loses its five minutes of fame, you better believe that here will be something like, Number 16 is Transgender, or Number 14 is Gay, or Number 17 is Lesbian. Once you are in the spotlight, it is hard to give it up unless you are an extremely private person and these folks aren't or don't seem to be anyway. You may even be seeing me on one of the follow up shows. ;) That many kids someone is bound to be one or the other. I'm a little too old though so it may be Mr. Dugger and his Mistress as a new show. ;D Just kidding but I am from Arkansas and Michelle has to be little, how should we say, exhausted by now. ;) I really need to shut up now. >:-)

Oh god I hope none of her kids are gay or trans.  I mean, her personal morals are bad enough for cis straight kids, imagine a poor gay, bi, or trans kid growing up with that...

I really hope everyone understands that these so called reality shows aren't that real. ??? I will almost bet that Michelle Dugger was paid for her "views" by some political, or agenda group.

That "stationwagon" they got, you know the bus. Those things cost 1,000,000 plus dollars. Even used they aren't that cheap. Maybe 750,000 dollars I know 'cause I used to deliver furniture to the places up around Indiana and Ohio that made those buses. I have never seen a contractor or preacher in Arkansas that actually made enough money to by one of those especially with that many kids. Maybe Sam Walton and his kin. But seeing their house and where they live and what the Dugger Daddy does, No. Unless he has ties to the big names like Swaggart, Hinn and so on. Remember I am from Arkansas and that state doesn't produce that many millionaires. Hell, if you are a Thousandaire in Arkansas, that make you rich. I am talking if you have 5 thousand in the bank in Arkansas, you are rich. I am sorry, I still love Arkansas, the quietness and so on. And even Little Rock is open minded enough for the LGBT. Just sayin'. Maye and I will bet she is making a lot of money form her statements. ::)

I lived in Arkansas for a while and I had a lot of family that lived there too. I have a lot of good memories of living there and I found that most people there are friendly and helpful. It's not a bad place to live if you like being outside.

Michelle Duggar has absolutely no qualifications to make the claims she's making. To make it worse she's fear mongering using information that isn't factual. She's bearing false witness and that violates a commandment in the bible. She and her husband are independent baptist Christians and she should know better.

She needs to mind her own business and leave us alone.

Wow Eva. You read my mind. Where in Arkansas? I love my home state and for the most part it is live and let live. Or I would have been killed a long time ago. ;D

Hypochristian, as in Christian hypocrite. (Trademarked Jill-ism...)

Like the self-righteous preacher that I grew up next door to who would get drunk, beat his wife, claim he was poor, then buy a sports car for himself.

I suppose hyperchristians would just be Christians with ADHD.
