I just made my first therapy appointment for next Wednesday! I also made an appointment to get started on HRT...I am so scared, nervous, and excited all at the same time

Good job. I hope the HRT appointment works out, many request/require a letter from a therapist first. Have you told the therapist about wanting a letter when you made the appointment?

I did talk to the therapist on the phone when I called and made the appointment, I also asked if therapy was a requirement for HRT, she told me no, just make an appointment to get started. (Tom Wadell standards?)

Wait, what's the appointment for? Did you have to go to a gender therapist to diagnose you? Just here in the UK u have to get diagnosed by a gender therapist before going on T.

Howard Brown is a low income Informed consent clinic. No therapist needed.

I actually have 3 appointments scheduled #1-BH assessment with the therapist, I am not sure what the BH means (basic health?) #2- Transgender intake, #3-HRT start. #'s 2 & 3 are both on the same day #3 is scheduled as a 20 minute appointment. One of the first 2 will involve lab/blood work.
