Right now I'm considering getting. New binder.

So far I've tried:
Underworks tri top
Underworks 997
Eva (those tank top binders on ebaay)
t kingdom 1700
And some other Underworks binder I ended up returning.

So far my "go to" and every day wearer is the 997. I've got a big chest and a big belly but I'm considering trying something new that might feel more comfortable. Any suggestions? The tried top was terrible. It hit somewhere between to low and too high. The tanktop Eva binder ripped on the seam after wearing it 2x. The T Kingdom binder was stiff heavy fabric that didn't bind we'll and didn't cover my chest much.

One of the most comfortable binder ever is the T-Kingdom 801, the one zipped on front.
Problem is I don't know if it would be effective on a big chest, and it's a short model similar to tri-top you didn't like... the best flattening binder for big guys is the 997 Underworks, but you own it already.
Can't be more helpful, sorry.

The zipper would be very visible and my hair would get stuck in it (likely).

It sounds like you need something that is full coverage and made from lycra.
I suggest looking on LoveBoat -> binders by function -> wide coverage.

I'm a bigger guy with a bigger chest and my favorite ever binder is the crewneck binder from underworks. I was having a lot of problems with the 997 because it tugged down on my shoulders soooooooo bad. This one is a t-shirt style binder and it doesn't cause nearly as many shoulder problems as the 997 did even when I wear it all day. If I have any complaints it's that if you're not watching it it does kind of a uniboob thing after some time, but not as bad as some other binders I've tried and definitely not so bad as my sports bras. Oh! And it's lasted me more than a year of daily use, washes, and some swimming, with only minor stretching. It's still totally functional. So they semi recently changed the names of things but I'm almost positive the one I'm talking about is the "microfiber concealer crew".

But seriously, if your problem is pain in the shoulder area I could not recommend this binder more highly.

Did you get the microfiber or the cotton one?

I'm also looking at LLB, the jersey mesh isn't available in white in the size I need. :/

Nygeel, although you are not asking for it. I just wanted to let you know.
It will take a long while to restock that binder at LoveBoat. (Last year it took almost 6 months to restock the jersey mesh because its a popular binder and they don't produce any of their binders). I only had the restock issue with that particular binder. If time is an issue, I suggest you to pick the other colour available (black).

Would love to hear what you end up with. I've got the tri top and the Underworks sports bra.  The bra binds as well as the tri top. Neither bind as tight as I want them to. Still looks like boobs (although flatter uniboob) instead of pecs.  Thinking of trying a size smaller, but I'm really broad through the shoulders and chest the tri top is almost too narrow now. Lots of left over moob around the sides of the top.     Anyone got suggestions on a wider binder?

If you want a white binder.... Have you seen the high performance velcro binder from them yet? I have one and it is my favorite binder from them. Wide coverage, thin material but strong (no visible lines under shirts), and binds tight.

I've never tried an LLB binder. I've used a t kingdom which was terrible, Underworks 997 and tritop, and those inexpensive ones for $10 on eBay.

I have no idea if an Air Max M would work for someone with a large chest. They are a nice binder and are pull over (they are in white, grey, black). YOu could read the reviews or perhaps someone has had one here.
They have a velcro style but I was bothered by the velcro (itching along the little piece I could feel) and preferred the long one. They are in up to XX large.
(I noticed there was a cool mesh style that comes in 3X.)
The stomach section doesn't compress.

Imo, the ones off ebay work rather well for skinnier and smaller busted men. I bought one and it was quite a struggle to put on, it didnt bind as well sadly (and i am pretty big too). But it did feel really nice and soft on the skin. It can be masked as a plain tank top too, depending on the one you get

For me, I got a black one (with the red trim). It looks like any other tank top and it strapped me down pretty good (I've got a "deflated" chest). It's just really uncomfortable and was short on me.

Mine was a white one with the clips on the side. It did the same thing but it did give me a rather manly looking chest still. it was a bit long on me however and yeah, it was rather uncomfortable

Sizing on the LLB might be similar to the pullovers on ebay and amazon. I've heard they run small. LLB seem to be Asian sizes. I'm not nearly as "large" as I seemed to run on the LLBs.

I only know that I bought the largest size available and it was kinda small (with the eBay binders).

So....right now I'm going to get another 997 from Underworks. On the fence about other models from there. Unsure about LLB too.

getting one size up might actually help as well
I started off with a medium sized binder but that started becoming quite uncomfortable, so I moved to a size large 997. (it still makes me flatter than ever despite being a larger size and I'm very big to say the least) however, much like Ianianian said, the most uncomfortable point about the 997 is the shoulders part (they really chafe and pull, making it quite sore.)
I' going to personally try the T-shirt style binder and see how that goes, let you know how well it works

I'm on the larger side (looks like I'd probably be L-XL for underworks) and looking at getting a first real binder soon... following this with interest.
