Hi everyone just want to say hi. I've been mtf transgender since about four years old when I remember identifying as female but allway hid my feels . Allways have done my best to hide my true female self . I'm thirty something now divorced and ready to come out but need some help :). Would be nice to have people talk to and associate with that understand me . Have allway been scared to come out scared to lose friends and family. Well hope can make some new friends  :)

Welcome to the family, Jayd. Thirty is a great age to transition. Just take it as slowly as is comfortable for you and anyone really close to you. IMHO a good Gender Counselor is a wonderful help as is at least one fairly close friend, LGBT or not, who is willing to learn and support you.

Some days may be hard, but the rewards are great: You get to be true to yourself. How cool is that?

Forums can offer lots of help, but do consider coming into CHAT, too, where you can 'talk' real time with others in transition.

Best wishes.

Hi Jayd welcome to Susan's family,

Finding a gender therapist is a great way to start.

They can help you understand where you fit in the spectrum of GD and help you work on a solid path forward.

It is a very hard thing to transition and all the help you can get is always better.

Were always here and can offer as much or as little help as needed.

Safe passage on your path, popcorn?
