Hey everyone! So this past year has been huge for me, with finally being myself 100% of the time and finally starting T this summer. A year ago+ I was really depressed and making bad choices. As a result my weight skyrocketed. I've put a lot of focus into eating better and moving more, and I've lost 50 lbs in the last year. An unfortunate side effect of my initial weight gain was stretch marks all over my stomach. Now the skin there is kind of loose and rippled from the stretch marks. I'm embarrassed by it. Does anyone know if being on T will help/hurt that skin tightening back up again? Or any ways for me to help it do so? Thanks everyone!!

If you are young, healthy and reasonably well-hydrated your chances are higher of that loose skin "shrinking" over time. If there's a lot of it, surgery may be the only way to get it completely flat again.

Or if it is really stretched from over weight or pregnancy, then surgery may be the only/best option. It would also remove stretch marks which give pause to those who wonder.
