I got 4 of my quarters swapped for a dollar today AND

I found a penny. 

Home from work before 4 am.

I played Call of Duty: Black Ops and got a final kill a couple of times.

My first day of school went well, I saw some friends I haven't seen in awhile, and complimented my hair and said I looked like a metalhead.

Got my letter from my endo so that I can get the gender on my driver's license changed to female. Never been so happy getting an F in my life

I said the same thing to my wife when I walked out of the DMV with that lovely F on my driver's license.

I found out that the play 'the book of mormon' is going to be in my city! and tickets go on sale at 10 this morning so I should definitely be able to get some!!!!! SO EXCITED!!!! And yesterday, I got a rad haircut ^_^ happy happy happy!

I had lunch with my parents today in the town where I grew up.  My mom made jelly from the petite syrah grapes that grow on their property and gave me a jar. Later I hung out briefly with a woman that I've known since 1987 who told me how awesome I look now.

And it's Friday.

Cross off another session with the pain monster today.

She says it's starting to look clearer.
She is very nice as well.

I was asked to help tutor a kid in math today. His parents told me that they couldn't get him to concentrate on his work for more than 10 minutes at a time, even though he's really smart. I sat down with him and kept his attention for 3 hours without a single complaint. In fact, he enjoyed every bit of it and wanted to learn more. His parents are completely shocked and kept asking me what my secret was. I guess I'm just a really good teacher. I feel really good now.

Our weather is shifting to fall! It is drizzling rain, but it is so nice and cool. Beats the upper 90s and 100s from yesterday!!

I wrote a big paragraph musing about weights and prices and markets, and went over to my friend Google to fact-check, and realized I really can't read the market summary charts.  At all. I no longer feel qualified.

But none of it matters too much to me because I've only got 12 freezer lambs.  I'm kind of shooting for 95-105 pounds but I'm really just going to feed them until I like where they're at, and then they'll go.

Once my cute little weaner piglet hit 160 lbs he got rendered into chops, steaks, smoked hams, sides of bacon and sausage! Glad we didn't name him, that would have been a big mistake. I had ten Rhode Island Red hens and eventually whacked one, the kids had named them all and refused to eat it. 

"We don't eat friends"   I think a shark said that in a movie. He also said fish are friends though.

This morning was my first trip to the beauty shop. Where I had my legs waxed a manicure and pedicure. I never realized all the wonderful feelings from from doing this!
