Hi I am Anna... a post op mtf 5 years.  I am so confused about the hormone dosage & medicine. I used to take lynoral n finast as anti androgen. After my surgery my doc told to be on lynoral only. But I wasnt happy n satisfied.  N my looks curves started fadding then I consulted some other doc who is really good in hormones. He gave me transdermal cream soy one to use. My hormone level of estrogen rised up but I gained weight like anything. N my hair falling like zillions. M so scared. Niw m so depressed dt I dont know what to do.  In India doctors hardly work on transgirls.... pls guide me...

Are there any online doctor options if you can't find a helpful doctor in India? It sounds like you were better off keeping the anti androgen but you ideally want someone to look at your blood and get the balance right. My Dr. Was happy to let me continue on with an anti androgen post op, just with a smaller dose. It's not uncommon to stay on them, just traditionally considered unnecessary 

Do you have access to bloodtests?

Yeahhh the new doctor he gave me alll possible tests even chromosome body dexa scan mammography cortisol sgbh etx etc... then only he recommended me transdermal skin creams...  estro and progesterone but after taking it for 3 months I gained like anything.  N hair r thinning n faaling so I hv stopped taking hormones.

Did you discuss your concerns with him? or asked other transwomen in your country? hope everything gets better, take care
