Hi im hoping to tone up and get a more feminine figure but I was curious if me working out will cause me to get bulky an more manly looking. I bought this workout program called insanity which seems like a lot of cardio which I assume is good since your not lifting heavy weights. Im a whole year on HRT so maybe the estrogen will help shape my body the way I want it? So if anybody that has had experience with this or insanity id love some feedback! Thank you! :)

Yeah I just did the first day of insanity today and wow it is really good at making you work up a sweat. I dont wanna be buff at all. I just want a more toned body. I used to have kind of a buff body so the estro is turning my muscle into fat. Im just trying to keep up with my body so I dont get all blubbery lol

You need to work out and keep fit otherwise the hormones will deposit in the wrong places (belly area) as I found out the hard way. I wish I had worked out before starting transition.

I'm planning to take a risk next week of setting my hair into telogen effluvium (system shock shedding cycle) by going through an insane cardio and protein cutting regimen for a month. Maybe two.

Just a bare minimum of protein to keep my hair and some essential functions. Vegetarian and carbs will constitute the bulk of my calorie intake.

And yes, lots and lots of cardio - running, speed roping, elliptical. At the end of each workout I'll wreak of ammonia from burning muscle protein.

I want to get my weight down from 124 to around 116. I'll lose lots of body fat and approach being 'ripped' but I'll lose muscle as well. I can always eat up again and regain the body fat. The end result should be a sleeker body. With the anti-androgens this should make the effort harder ;D But faster as well.

I have been doing the T25 series, finished Alpha last week and been doing Beta for a week. I know that my muscles have been more sore lately.

What are some good exercises to do?

I am  pre everything but what I have been doing is this everyday and in 4 weeks I have dropped 5kgs of weight, no diet change just 3 small meals of fruit from 7am-2pm, then at 4pm I eat salad and either a piece of chicken or some fish. I also only have one coffee in the morning and 1.5 litres of water throughout the day (sipping as I feel hungry). Keep in mind I already dropped 15 kgs so I am in that slow stage of little to no weight loss, so this new workout is good as I am again dropping weight.

BONUS: it is feminizing on your lower body.

This is my new workout for this month:
