Strangely enough, I was not the only transchick at that event with maybe 200 people. There were at least two others. One approached me, tapped me on the shoulder during speeches and waved. At first I thought she was someone I must have met before, but no. Then I saw that she was with another transwoman. She was very pretty, mind you, but like me she was still built like a guy. I wanted to say "hi" afterward, but I had to be social with a bunch of other people when I noticed that they were leaving.
Anyway, it was the best time I ever had being clocked in public. Afterward we went to an awesomely fabulous gay bar for drinks with a large group. It seems that I have somewhere to stay now if I ever can manage to fly to Hawaii.
