I've been on T for a few months now, and everyone I know says my voice sounds deeper. I have recorded it and I barely can tell. When I speak my voice still sounds girly to me. Will that ever change, I'm not worried about my outward change because other people hear it. But will I always hear my voice as girly? It really messes with my confidence.

Could just be in your head out of dysphoria and the fear that your voice will never pass. I think you should just give it some more time for your head to adjust to the new voice and slowly forget what you originally sounded like. What you should know is that testosterone might not make your voice as deep as you expected it to be. What you can try to do is work on your speech pattern if that helps any, men tend to talk with a more commanding tone and voice sounds flat.

and yes I do know that.
I just don't like the voice in my head. But every one else who talks to me says its deeper than it once was. I don't get called a woman often any more even though I don't have facial hair.

If it's any consolation, in my head I also feel that I still sound "girly" and I'm nearly 3 years on T - until I hear my voice played back from either a video or recording.  I only get "sir" on the phone, never ma'am - so yes, there is something about hearing your own voice when speaking that will throw you off. 

I agree, some of it might be in your head. You should give it as much time as you feel comfortable with, but use whatever other tricks you can manage. You can try speaking in more of a monotone or using more commanding language. A few months is not long, though. You might just need time to get your inner self to get into good alignment with your presentation.

Thank you both, I hope i can start to hear it soon, though when I called an office today she kept asking me more and more security questions to make sure I was the "Female" client she was supposed to give the information to.

I'm nearly three years in, I've heard recordings of me and I sound male, but when I talk I can't hear the difference. My voice is still dropping too. I've noticed if I talk with a lower inflection I can almost hear the changes.
