Ok, so it's so confusing with the exchange rate. Easiest way is to go the credit card route but they usually charge a foreign exchange fee which would be about $200 extra for the amount I have left. I did a bank draft but its hard because the bank drafts are in USD and the exchange rate constantly changes. Any tips? Doesn't have to be girls who went to Brassard. Any girls who have exprience in general paying in USD to a place that wants it in their currency.

Do they provide an IBAN / BIC codes? These are the international account codes and allow electronic wireless transfer. Normally credited within a few working days less a commission fee. I paid for Thai surgery that way.

I just did the bank draft and took the hit on the exchange rate; it wasn't great, but shopping around for the perfect rate with a bank that wasn't my own seemed like it risked too much with a payment I could NOT have going astray. For 3 payments, it wasn't bad, and I don't think holding out on the exchange rate would have made that much difference (I might if I'd be doing this constantly for years or something).

I asked about electronic transfer (From England) and Suzanne sent me their SWIFT/IBAN codes.

Not sure what the exchange rate was but only had to pay my bank a 25 GBP fee for the transfer ... which went thru in a few days both times.

I also did the bank draft. I went ahead and got two drafts which covered the entire amount at one time as they offered a better rate that way. I believe it still added a couple hundred if memory serves me.
