Well, I feel a lot better today.  I don't know what happened yesterday, but I felt so miserable, achey, nauseous and tired.  Maybe it was just a bad day, but considering that I was having very strong breast aches, I imagine it must be related to the injection.  My coworker joked that I might have my period, and while that's impossible for me to have, I do imagine that fluctuating hormones may play a roll.  Anyway, much better today and feel fine.  Sadly, I'm still not noticing any major differences in my appearance, but I know I have to be patient.  IT's just getting harder everyday to keep this charade going and really want to feel free soon.  At the very least, I have to be fulltime before my 26th birthday in February.  I can't keep doing this to myself.

Yes! Trust me, the changes WILL come. Patience, as you said. Months into switching to injectables and taking progesterone, people have noticed a difference, a VERY positive difference in my face. I'm happy you feel better. :)

This thread is probably more annoying than helpful, but I thought I would put in an additional observation.  While everyone talks about the emotional response to hrt, I never had that, for the most part, while on oral hrt.  Now that I'm doing the injections I do notice that it's having more of an impact on my mood and not always for good.  Everything feels more intense in a way.  Nothing serious, though I'm hoping this will level out as I get adjusted to my new regimine.  For the most part, it's fairly nice to feel when I feel more calm and happy, but sucks when I feel anxious or annoyed.  Sadly, I have still noticed any physical differences between oral hrt and injections though I have been very impatient and not allowed much time to pass.  I think I will retire this thread for about a month or so and report once I notice any changes or benefits from the injections, if I ever experience them.  As of now, physically it's not more or less beneficial than what I was doing before.  I'm glad to have made the switch, but can't say it's done much as of yet, so I can't recommend switching based on my limited experience at this time.

You're right.  I need to remind myself that it all takes time and not get stuck in my usualy negativity and anxiety.  However, it's been difficult to do as I'm so sick and tired of being in the closet and hiding this.  I've been in transition for quite some time and am getting bothered by not living life as I would like.  It's driving me crazy, almost literally, and my crying and anxiety fits have returned on account of being stuck iin this process.

If, after awhile, you still feel EC hasn't made much of a difference and/or you don't feel that good, you could always ask the doctor to switch you to EV instead and see if it makes a difference.
