Just tried makeup for the first time.  Well, I've been made up by girls before, sit around in a room with a group of females long enough and they'll want to put make up on the only guy in the house!  God forbid they find out you have small feet, you'll end up in the tallest set of heels they have that fit. >.>

In any case, wow, I had no idea.  Just some simple foundation and some lash work.  Looking at myself in the mirror nearly brought me to tears.  I looked so much younger, so much more pretty.  I didn't think I would be into it at all.  I see myself as a tomboy in a man's body, or some nonbinary gender, but... wow.  So, help a complete n00b out.  I just want a simple look, nothing showy, nothing glamorous, just show off what I already have.

Go to Lauren Curtis on Youtube. I think she has the best detailed makeup videos ever. She goes in depth on everything from foundation to lips. She has everything from conservative makeup to clubbing looks. I personally think she is the best!!  :)

Another good tute YouTube channel is Pixiwoo, done by a couple of pro stylists. My fav makeup vlog, though is Leighannsays, though hers is less tutorial and more product reviews. It's worth watching her just to get into the whole girly experience, though. Lately I've become obsessed with Leighann's pal Bunny (grav3yardgirl) who also is more about reviews, but if you haven't seen her do because she's so friggin' funny. You can't take makeup or hairstyling too seriously after watching a few of her vids.

Try to look up some makeup tricks for the different aspects of your face, for instance if you have almond shaped eyes, then look up tips for that shape. The trick is to do your makeup according to your individual face, as this will enhance some of your more feminine features, while downplaying the masculine. I usually put a bit of foundation on my cheeks, and I create a wing with some eyeliner.
