I just got my blood work results back. Everything was great but my T was 32 ng/dl, triglycerides 155 (normal 150) and prolactin 25 - 18 limit. My PA said all looks good.

I do my shot training Monday. So the E may lower the T, right?

Why is my triglycerides high if all other lipids look great??

My salt was boarder line low and I eat a lot of salt. Potassium was borderline high.

Here is the kicker, my prolactin was 25 high, why All I did was add progesterone.

Any insight would be helpful.

Cynthia, just a thought about the potassium - there tend to be elevated levels if the blood wasn't taken correctly. However, from what I remember, potassium and sodium are "counterplayers" so it would make sense that high potassium and low sodium co-occur. Both are associated with the activity of adrenal glands and with adrenal stress. If nothing else comes up, maybe this is something to explore further.

I believe Wilson recommends drinking sodium dissolved in water during a treatment of adrenal fatigue (I may have it wrong, though, please double-check anything that I said here ).

Triglycerides increase on a high carb diet and decrease on a low carb diet. Oral estrogen, I think, tends to increase them, more so non bio-identical estrogen. Perhaps progestins such as cyproterone acetate and medroxyprogesterone acetate also increase those values. But, it seems to me your triglycerides are fine. Slightly above is nothing to worry about, I think and your doctor seems to think it's fine.

Taking Spiro by any chance? Spiro reduces sodium and increases potassium.

Estrogen increases prolactin, it's normal. It prepares the breast for lactation, milk production. Some forms of estrogen increase it even more (non-bioidentical) and cyproterone acetate as well.
