Hey everybody. How does the body change during transition? (Male to female) does sex feel any different after a while on hrt? I don't know how to ask this without sounding wrong but... How does anal sex feel any good, wouldn't it hurt assuming you are into that kind of thing? (Is it the mental aspect of having sex as a female that feels good or is it the physical pleasure?)

I'm a 19 year old male, I've never had sex and I get very embarrassed and nervous when people talk about sex so I think it's best to talk about it online where I can stay anonymous. I have no dating experience or anything like that due to my social anxiety and depression because of my gender dysphoria but I feel that if I do transition I will come out of my shell and start dating more. I find the male idea of sex reclusive... If that makes any sense :p so yeah. Is it normal for transsexual male to female people to start liking guys in an attempt to be more feminine? I think I would start liking guys because I hate the male idea of sex. Wouldn't this just be trying to please society if so? Like if you start liking guys During transition I mean. Am I the only one who thinks about this kind of stuff? O.o

I was also wondering... Does pre HRT fat move to female areas or will it stay there?

I think these questions are messed up but I'm just really curious. :p

You will definitely see a change in sexual experience once you start HRT. YMMV for everything obviously, but generally:

Getting and maintaining erections will be harder. Spontaneous erections & morning wood will go away within the first month. Some people don't seem to have a problem with it. For me, I'm less than 3 weeks HRT and erections are almost entirely gone for me.

Your erogenous zones and orgasms change. I heard vibrators are our best friends. After some time on HRT you might experience female orgasms instead of male orgasms. Hard to describe but it's just a full-body bliss (you'll know when you have your first one  ;))... they're a ton better than male orgasms for sure!

Anal sex? No idea. I never liked the idea and I doubt I'll try it any time soon. It's all prostate stimulation though so it might be less pleasurable since your prostate does shrink on HRT.

There's straight trans-women, there's gay trans-women, there's bi trans-women. We come in all shapes. You're still young, you might find your sexuality is a lot more fluid than you thought. I've always been bi but since I started hormones, I'm definitely giving guys more attentions lately. Not saying they'll switch your orientation... but hormones do funny things to our brains.

As for fat, fat cells don't actually migrate across your body. The body replaces something along the lines of 10% of our fat cells every year, so once you're on HRT, new cells will begin being deposited in female areas (face, breasts, hips, butt) while fat cells in male areas die off. It's all dependent on your metabolism and you can probably accelerate things with exercise.

I've heard of this, but I have to say - "male" orgasms for me have been exactly like this. I have heard people saying a male orgasm is basically confined all the way down there, but not for me. It basically feels like I am standing in the ocean and a gigantic wave just crashed over me. If it gets better than that then, wow.

However I have to just let it happen. I can't concentrate otherwise it just feels like waves down there and that's about it. If I just let it happen all my hairs stand on end and I feel the waves all over my body.

I've never been on HRT, but I definitely experience what I consider to be female orgasm.  I won't go too much detail, but there are several different types that I experience.  There is one type that occurs with stimulation to outside areas and another type that comes from inside areas.  Both are totally different.  I will say I must have some E in me because I do have some breast development, so that might be partially responsible.

I think some male bodies can and do have full body orgasms. I was reading that it doesn't last that long though. Makes sense. It only really lasts a few minutes but there is an incredible sense of calm when it's all said and done. Sadly, there is a big feeling of "why am I doing this" afterwards. I suppose it has to do with hormones (Oxytocin) being released to calm you.

I'm not MTF, so I hope you don't mind me butting my nose in.  I do however seem to share many of your thoughts/feelings on sexuality.

I'm confused at this point whether or not you are attracted to men or women right now.  If you are attracted to women now you'll probably be attracted to women post-transition.  Some people's sexuality does shift a little one way or the other.  I think that is mostly due to personal comfort rather than an actual sexuality switch.  It didn't happen to me, however, so I can't really say.

Nevara is spot on about the fat cells.  New ones will be put in female zones, but the old will have to be burned off to get them to budge.  Over time you'll burn off the old and add the new, but one can certainly attempt to expedite the process.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I've had it go both ways. Usually coincided when mentally projecting as female, both during sex and self pleasuring. It's intense, made my feet cramp and toes curl, whole body spasm, grade of intense.  The mental projecting isn't something I have much control over, it kind of slides around like a slow car on ice.

I'm MtF transitioning and whilst I've been with guys before as a girl, I've come to realise my sexual orientation is that I like other girls. I certainly haven't noticed any change in that whilst on HRT. But I have noticed a MASSIVE decline in my sex drive, in fact what sex drive lol. I must have very little testosterone which is good, but the price I'm paying is the sex drive, or lack there of. I did test the plumbing a couple of weeks back and it's definetly different, I was able to orgasm, much harder to get and maintain and erection and nothing white coming out, just a clear liquid during orgasm. So yes to physical changes, no to my sexual orientation  :D

Whilst I'm finding my shape is changing and definetly around the hips, I don't know that it 'shifted' from anywhere in particular. I just think a healthy diet and some fitness helps a lot.
