They mentioned the bow tie! lol. Clearly an indicator.

my daughter wears a bow tie. but she wears normal ties as well.
learned to tie those things from my sister's boyfriend, and even got some of his old ones that he doesn't use.

Very funny but the message is important and also works in reverse when non binaries seek to question/understand binaries.  As the clip says "just because you don't understand non-binary identities doesn't mean you get to dehumanize or invade the privacy of non-binary folks!" and vice versa.

Safe travels

What is with the bow tie thing?

I mentioned in another thread, that my parents told me that I couldn't be trans. They said they might expect it from my brother as he wore bow ties when he was younger but I didn't. I found it baffling, but it seems that there may actually be a bow tie association. lol

They forgot one- "Oh! I know what you mean! I don't really like super girly things either... you're a tomboy like me."

I think I have lost count of how many times I have heard all of these (except the bow tie one.... I have never worn a bow tie).
"You either like me or you don't... it took me 20-something years to learn how to love myself. I don't have that kind of time to convince somebody else." -Unknown

Interesting video, I wouldn't waste my time having dialog like that, usually a conversation with a rock will get the same results. I have been asked, "What are you male or female?" My response, "Make your best guess and we'll go with that!" or "Take your pick, whatever blows your hair back!" Most people get the impression that I can be a prickly A-hole anyway, so most don't waste my time asking a lot of insipid questions.
