Ms Bev

The new voice is becoming esasier to maintain for the duration of my work day.  I picked up the phone yesterday, and answered with my best female voice.  Long silence on the other end. Then..."Who is this?" (It was my general manager).
"It's Beverly"
"Oh!"
Then, the rest that followed was the purpose of the call.
He know's Mike's voice, and he knew Mike's 'transitional' voice, but this was someone else, someone he did not know, until I told him.
Things are going great, especially with my female customers.  I plan on staying for as long as I have to, hopefully not too much longer, practicing like hell, then going out in confidence for new job interviews!

Congrats!

I had that the other day when my friend called. I answered and she asked if Natalie was there. I said, "this is her." And she said, "I'm sorry, I've got the wrong number." And then I told her that it was really me. LOL
