What is your T delivery system?

I only recently started T, on 9/9/2014 <high five>.  I started with gel and then two days ago started on subcutaneous injections.  I found it really easy and simple and it makes me wonder what other guys are using.  I am wondering how popular subcutaneous injections are becoming, especially in the U.S.

I started on the 8th! Subq, but the only needles the pharmacy would give me are IM so I just don't stick it in all the way

Did my IM this morning.  I actually kind of enjoy it. :icon_suspicious:  I did over a year of gel, and now have over a year of injections.

Will you be able to get the right ones when you refill your script?

I should be able to. I have to meet with my doctor before I refill so I'll make sure she gives me the script for the needles again. Hopefully she will, but I have enough needles for almost 6 months and only 3 months worth of T.

Can you do that? My insurance only lets me pick up one vial every two weeks plus I have trouble with IM injections. And my dose is high so it'd be nice to go lower with the same results.

IM, pretty average dose, I like to use the inch long needles but right now the pharmacy only has an inch and a half so I have to order some

I don't think IM or Subq are any different other than one doesn't go as far in. My dose would be the same whether I did IM or Subq, the only difference would be I would take 2 doses every two weeks for IM or one dose every week for subq. I was prescribed Subq, got IM needles, and all I do is not stick them in all the way.

My doctor says that I could do subq or IM... My dose and the fact that I do my shot weekly would remain the same. I came to him wanting to do subq because when I was doing IM, it was wayyy too hard to push the needle in for me. I have also used IM needles for subq shots and just didn't stick it in all the way.

IM. I inject with a 25 gauge, but I'm nearly out and getting needles here is almost impossible. I have to fall back on using my 23 gauge, 1 1/2" ones since I have so many. I'll be trying to get t here though, and I imagine that will change.
  •

blink

Subcutaneous, 23 gauge meant for IM. In my opinion, extra length on the needle is not a bad thing. In the unlikely event of a breakage it would be best to have some needle sticking out to remove it.

Kreuzfidel

Intramuscular for me.  I've not interest in SubQ.
  •

Tossu-sama

Intramuscular every three months. I'm on Nebido as well. :P

I started with Testogel, though and then switched to Sustanon first and then back to Testogel because for some reason Finnish pharmacy importers had problems to get Sustanon delivered. >_>
All in all, it's been Testogel > Sustanon > Testogel > Nebido.

I do mine IM in my thigh. If I didn't have eczema, I think I'd probably do cream after my freak out this weekend.

I do inteamuscular shots in the thigh weekly on a pretty standard dose. I like where I am at, and I don't plan to change my method unless I have to.
