I am 28 and wants to Start HRT soon. Will I or could I still have promising results with a feminine look? I feel that I may have missed the boat on starting early and I may never pass. What age did you start HRT and were you more than pleased with your results?

Any age is the perfect age to start your transition. I started at 30 years old with at  5'11" with a rather masculine frame. I didn't look good at first but now I live full time as who I really am and I get gendered correctly every time out in public and over the phone. It wasn't easy but I am beyond happy with my results so far compared to where I was a year ago. Your results may vary as far as transition goes but it's up to you in the end if transitioning is really what you need. Get started and find a therapist and start working on your issues and hash out what your true desires are.

Breeze thru the pics offered here in 'You Look Fabulous Darling' & 'Before and After' along with their ages and the proof is I believe fairly easy to see.  You should not have a problem, just keep in mind it takes time and remember, remember, remember that really high expectations in too short of a timeframe is a recipe for temporary disappointment.  Heck, I started only 96 days ago and I am 'pretty' surprised at my progress, and I'm 63.  :o  Put your worries on the shelf as much as you can for now and focus on enjoing the progress of getting the 'outside' to match the 'inside' once you start.   :)  Dani

P.S.  And also welcome, this is a pretty nice place to be, due to many nice people who care.

Missed the boat at 28???? Sweetie I STARTED at 47 and yes that is really me now just one year later. It comes down to genetics and health, but you should do quite well. No one can guarantee results though it is just luck of the draw, but it is never too late.  :)

I started at 32. By six months into HRT I couldn't pass for a guy anymore when I tried as hard as I could. :) I'm curvy and 42DDD and very, very happy with my results. You'll do fine! As everyone says, you're actually still pretty young.

Your results will be whatever your results are. They are dependant on a number of factors, the main ones you have no control over. Suggesting you look in the 'Before and After' and 'You look fabulous' thread isn't a horrible idea, but something to remember is that only those who think they will get positive feedback will be the ones that post.

Another thing to consider is that some of us just don't react well to HRT. After 3 years, different doses, different meds and difference forms, my breast development remains minimal.. In fact, minimal is an accurate word to describe the level of most of my physical changes.

The simple truth is, you have no idea what changes you will get until they happen.

I started at 28 and I feel like it's working pretty well. Breasts have started to become noticeable in the past few weeks when I'm wearing guy tees they're around 38b with some space in the cups. That's about what I can say for progress starting at 28. My avatar pic is a little old I have a recent pic in another thread about getting my ears pierced and growing my hair. I'm the reckless girl who started hormones while in the Army which is essentially illegal, other choice was suicide which I've tried and it didn't stick I'm happier alive.

I am 28, I certainly wish I started earlier, but I can't really complain much on how HRT has been going for me. I am wearing a 38C, my skin is better than it has ever been before, and I am finally starting to see reasonable fat redistribution, I started in February this year.
15 years on Susans, where has all the time gone?

I started at 28. While any age is perfect.. I love the results so far. Still trying to work on social anxiety though...

More importantly start electro or lhr on your face.... Even a light shadow will drive you loca in a year. I've had LHR 7 times now and I can tell you if I still had the moderate growth I did before it would really effect my life negatively.

(I started HRT at 23)

I started just after my 27th birthday, and supposedly "pass" very well. And plenty of girls here started later; some of the really gorgeous women on this site started in their early 30's. It depends on plenty of circumstances, with the greatest being your attitude, and how you approach every adjustment.

:/ Same here. It's getting better, though!

Starting at 28 is fine. But you have to be patient. You can't control rate of change and sometimes we need to help things along (FFS, BA, etc.).

So be patient! Did I say you need to be patient? Do you detect a theme here? :)
