I've seen this movie some time ago, but saw it on television again this afternoon.  I love this movie!  Like before it made me cry, more from happiness than sadness.  I'm 60, and I've never felt the kind of love portrayed in this movie.  I know, it's just a movie, and I'd like to believe that kind of love, the love the two characters felt, can be real.  I loved the main female character.  She's beautiful, intelligent, so full of life.  A beautiful love story that I know I will someday watch again.

Hello, this is also one of my favorite movies. A very powerful love story and the actors did an amazing job of portraying an adorable teenage love into a strong adult romance.  This movie will make you cry and leave you wanting more. The love that they share is very intense and will warm you up and leave you praying to God that once in your lifetime you get to experience that kind of love. I can watch this over and over again.

A great movie but the book is truly wonderful. The descriptions of their love just squeezes the emotions and the tears from even the most hardened cynic. It brings the romantic out of all of us

This movie never really did anything for me. I think it's because I just stopped believing in that kind of love, so the movie just seemed like some sort of distant fantasy that could never be. I guess I'm not much of a romantic anymore because I've been disappointed too much. I do get really emotional and cry during some movies, but I didn't even come close to that reaction for The Notebook.
