Lightest/subtlest binder (that still works)?

Hey folks,

I currently bind with one of those Chinese tank top style binders that're always floating around eBay. Works fine, but I'd really like something I can wear under t-shirt without feeling bulky and overheated.

Anyone have recommendations for a CHEAP, effective binder that's more bra-sized than undershirt sized? I do the double sports bra thing most days, but it doesn't get me as flat as I'd like.

It's more of a compression shirt, but if you are very small (A cup) the GC2 compression shirt might work.

I'm closer to a B/C, but I'll keep it in mind! Thanks. :)

I find the GC2 shirt does still get pretty sweaty and disgusting after a hot day. The coolest thing I have is an underworks tritop and that isn't so bad.

I just got myself  the "extreme magicotton sports and binding bra" from Underworks. I was between two sizes (32 and 34) and went for the smaller. It is very comfortable and flattens OK - but it isn't as compressing as the other binder I got from them. Maybe I can post a picture later if you're interested.

It wouldn't work. I agree with someone else's assessment that it's sweaty. I don't think binders actually "breathe".

I'd love to see a pic, tbh.

And thanks for all the responses, guys. I think I might try the underworks tritop when I have a few extra bucks to spare.

I have the tritop and it's served me well. I do recommend it.

Ok, here goes. The first pic is the Magicotton. I must say, I actually got this for the gym, not for everyday binding. The t-shirt shows some boobage, but it's still a big difference to no binder (I was going to take a pic of that too, but I couldn't stand it, sorry). Note that I tucked the t-shirt in and pulled it down, so the fabric was stretched over the moobs. I should also add that my chest measurement is 33 inches.

This is the Cotton concealer. Of course, the sports bra can't compete. I must say, it is still surprisingly comfy to wear. I don't know about sweaty though, it's fall here now, so it's not too hot ;).

I also have the Magiccotton and it is pretty much the only binder I will use from underworks. I can wear it without it affecting my asthma and it flattens me very well. I am about a C/D chest.
The only other binder I use is one from Tranz*forms, it also does not bother my asthma and I can wear it without feeling like I'm going to die.
I had multiple binders from Underworks including the tri top and cotton concealer, The tri top was stiff and I could not wear it for more than 2-4 hours without going into an asthma attack, and the Cotton Concealer while it was better, I still could not wear it as long as I needed to for work and school.
I completely recommend the Tranz*forms binder to anyone I talk to first because some guys do not like the idea of the magic cotton being called a sports bra.
I can post pictures of both if you would like.

Hey... very interested in this thread. It would be really cool if you could post some pics too, I'm thinking of getting the Magiccotton-thingy. I need something more comfortable but not sure if it'd be "enough" for me. Thanks!
