I've always wanted to be a green or blue witch

Did someone ask for a blue witch? Halloween is going to be on a Friday this year, I predict mayhem!

ehn, close-ish. If I can muster the $ in time for some stuff, I plan on going out as a typical Goth-girl.  Sort of a safe, toe in the water, 1st outting ordeal for me.

I have a costume idea that sounds great in my head, but I may fail miserably at putting it together... There's a costume party/fashion event on the 18th that I'm planning on going to. If I finish my costume in time I'll post it here.

I'm not 95% sure I will get dressed up and go out this Halloween. And by that, I mean in a female guise.  :icon_chick:
"There was a sculptor, and he found this stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and he worked on it for months, until he finally finished. When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

Still working on it, but this is my Halloween Costume so far. Going for a steampunk look. Still need to tweak the skirt, I was hoping my leggings would be more brown then they appear too.  Probably going to add a fancier top under the corset, but that's the general idea anyway =P

I am a weird girl, I like video games and skirts, swords and nail polish, sharks and black lace...not sure if that's normal, definitely sure that I don't care. =P

oooooh pretty! I love the corset!

I'd recommend something with a ruffled/frilly collar and/or puffy shoulders sort of like my beloved Emma Goldman is wearing in this pic though maybe not as humungus as her shirt's shoulders are..

Okay, this is a little off-topic and falls in the "pet peeve" category rather than something vital but a male witch is called a witch, not a warlock.

I don't want to be overcritical or rude but the word "warlock" comes from old English meaning oath-breaker or betrayer. It shows up in horror movie titles and the like but is not otherwise used today.  Calling a modern day witch - a Wiccan - a warlock is insulting.

I'm going to goth it up a bit for the King Diamond concert on Halloween, but I'm not going dressed as a guy.

I had a math teacher in high school who did drag every Halloween.  I later became pretty good friends with his daughter.  She drunkenly admitted to me one night that he didn't just do it for Halloween.  I always wanted to girl it up for Halloween, but I never did because I thought I would end up outing myself-especially to myself.

Yeah I'm trying to find something in that vain that won't look too out of place with the corset, I'm very fond of this one though, I kind of have a little collection going now. ^_^

Big annual outdoor Halloween concert in town and the theme for Friday the day we are going is "Electric Luau"
My lovely spouse is giving me one of her cute floral luau dresses to wear and she is going to wear one of my old Hawaiian shirts and board shorts, kind of a role reversal thing that she can handle ;)
We got a bunch of silk leis and LED blinkie lights for the electric part of the costume and she is going to do my hair and makeup all cute for the night.

Should be fun!
Just a "California Girl" trying to enjoy each sunny day

Yesss!!! I'm going to a Halloween party out of town with a friend, I can't wait! First time out in very visible makeup ;D

NICE corset Ellesmira, I wish I had the nerve to wear one that sexy!

Abby Claire

That's the plan for me. Not sure about a costume, but I have some ideas. I think I may go to a transgender party thing, but likely going to be out and about all night. It'll be my "coming out" before actually being "out". Hopefully I'll have some time on hormones before then too!

As promised, pics of my costume.

We had a 1950's sci-fi theme party. I drew some inspiration from some of Wally Wood's older comics, threw in a little gothic/steampunk flavor to it and then called it good :)
You can't tell very well but I added a black light LED strip to the collar. Then I wore some black light reactive makeup. It was pretty awesome in the dark ^^

I would love to try and dress up like a witch, or maybe one of those sexy cats but I think I'll have to wait for a couple of Halloweens before I can >:(

Every year I've worn a different halloween costume to a costume party at a club I go to, and this year I have a costume I'm working on, well creating basically.  It's a sexy Cheschire cat outfit which is a leotard with pink and purple fur stripes covering it.  Followed by matching leg warmers (raver style) and cat ears and tail.  I found a picture online of face makeup that I'm going to try and duplicate.  Hope it comes together.
