Darlene143 made me think about this a bit.  Over the past few months I have been transforming my upstairs bedroom into a most wonderful place of peace, relaxation and girly slumber.

I like pink and various shades of it from pale to hot and this is reflected in my remodeling of the upstairs room. I've been doing this on a tight budget so it's definitely the poor-girl's version but it has been a lot of fun creating the perfect ambiance up there.

I think I will be able to start posting pics tomorrow as I am definitely nearing the end of the current project/budget cycle on this thing.  These two are just a tease...smile...

My whole home is my girl-cave...can't say I've done anything special, except buy more clothes and shoes than I might need in a two week period!

Nice!  I guess my home is too when I think about it, but my bedroom is the one place where I want total immersion.  Pink butterflies on the wall clash with the big screen down stairs during a football game...   :) :)

Dani:

Love your bedspread and lamp.

Most of us try to make our bedroom a girl-cave. However the rest is the image we present to the world if not transitioning as yet.

Have a nice day.

Not a girl cave. But the main part of my living room is more like "The Get Along Gang Cave".  :D

Now that I think of it, our house has always been full of stuffed animals and cutesy things.   It's a mid-century-modern-grown-up-LGBT-Barbie-playhouse-with-a-tiki-bar.

Yellow Corvette sold separately.  (Vintage, please!)

Batteries not included.

Outside of Mr Bacon, my place wasn't like that until I got back into the Get Along Gang.

Yes we do , my wife calls it the dungeon .It contains our computers and a load of mementos from the past that I will never part with. The rest of the house belongs to 3 cats and a dog they just let us stay here to serve them.  :)

Our garage was remodeled into a spare bedroom.
Its actually the best room in the house,
yet it sits empty except for a computer and small desk.
I would love to decorate it, but have no clue where to start.?
Maybe I'll have a brainstorm one of these days.?

I finally finished the restoration on an old vanity I found on CL.  (Maybe I posted this the other day on another thread.  If so sorry for the double post!)  This thing was a nasty old brown and broken piece with burn holes in the upholstery.  I'm not real good with tools so it took awhile to bring it back to life.

It's going to look great upstairs!

I suggest starting with colors.  Which ones enhance the kind of mood you prefer when you are home and/or in that particular room?  When I am laying in bed, the shades of pink really send me off to wonderful slumber.

Yes, and no.  The "E" ticket was dumped in the early '80s from what I remember.

E ticket = HRT letter now.

Nice collection!  I had an old Telly in high school and college that I loved that disappeared when I was in Germany.  ("Borrowed" by a family member.)  A few years ago I bought an old Duo Sonic at a garage sale for $30.  About a 61 or 62 vintage if I recall.  Looks like a strat but with a shorter neck.  Real fun and easy to play with my small hands.
