Hey, new on here, 25 years old and only recently considering the possibility that I might be able to do something other than ignore these feelings of wanting to be a girl. As a result been bombarded with a whole host of new questions and worries. One of which is obviously how I would look.
Sorry I'm sure this is a common type of question that will have been asked before...
A common thing you read about HRT is fat redistribution away from the stomach and on to the thighs and hips. Thing is I'm a little confused as to what people mean when they say hips? I have a very wide pelvis for a guy, but its also quite high, and I'm not sure that my hips are wide. If you were to feel the highest part of your pelvic bone at the side, there and and above is where I have a bit of fat. If that fat was to sort of drop down a bit lower and sit at the side of the pelvic bone, rather than the top and above it, then my wide pelvis could come in handy. However if what people mean when they say 'hips' is that highest point of the pelvic bone, then I'm afraid putting more weight on there would actually make me look even more like a guy. Either right now I have a more feminine frame than is usual with a male fat distribution, or I have masculine frame with a more female fat distribution.
Anyone who's been through HRT for a few years, what is your experience of fat changes in this area and where exactly does it sit on your body in relation to the highest point of the pelvis at the side?
Thanks
