So I haven't started HRT or done anything as far as feminizing yet.  Hoping to start HRT before years end.

I'm 29, 5' 11" 160lbs right now and super worried about not passing.  I don't have a very large frame, but I do have enough upper body muscle that would be unnatural for a woman.  Genetically there are very few woman in my family... but the few I have are all average height, slender, feminine featured women.  Sorry, don't know what else I'm looking for when it comes to family genes.  I plan on doing laser hair removal to ditch the super beard growing ability I was cursed with, also FFS is in the plan for sometime mid next year.

Based on that, are the odds in my favor? Is this more like a one in a million chance?  Or am I over thinking this stuff and should shut up and smile. :)

Sorry, those links aren't working for me. But I'd suggest you'll find you'll lose a fair bit of upper body mass over the course of a couple of years, I know I have.

Seriously, the only thing about you that screams "guy" is the beard shadow.  Give HRT some time, and I think you will change your mind about FFS.  Also, the "guy muscle" will melt away in time after testosterone gets shown the door.  Cardio is your friend.

I think you're not only going to "pass", you're going to be "hot".

I started out thinking that I'd just look like a shaven ape in a dress, but now the only people who seem to notice that I'm actually transgender are other transgender people.

Lol! Hilarious. Thank you BTW.

I think you look totally female. I wouldn't worry about extra upper body muscle, as Jill said, that will go away as T levels drop. I know mine is shedding away slowly! Also keep in mind that cis women come in all shapes and sizes. I think sometimes we get so caught up in not looking a certain way that we don't realize how feminine we actually look! :)

(btw you look very pretty and that outfit rocks!!) :P

OK, now I can see the pics - you look quite natural to me. A bit of time on HRT and dealing with the beard and you should pass easily as long as you've got presentation and confidence sorted out.

Figured I would add an update to this post.  2 sessions of laser hair removal completed, and I think I've reached my target weight finally.  Now just have to wait for hormones to start and do their magic.

Hi Leeloo,

First of all, I think you are very pretty. Like everyone else is saying be patient and let Estrogen do its work :)

If I may suggest, have less make up. In my opinion, I pass more with less make up and I try to smile more which is odd because it really helps.
Good luck on your journey and feel free to connect if you need anything babe.

xo,

April

Hi Leeloo,

I think you look pretty great now. Get rid of the beard and give hrt some time, and as Jill pointed out you'll not only pass you'll be Hot! sizzle sizzle! You have a nice slim frame hrt will work wonders with, and in 2 years you'll look like you never had an upper body. Just give hrt some time while you continue to do the other things such as hair removal and you'll see!

Happy Holidays! :icon_bunch:

i agree with the others, the beard shadow once gone will be huge. i think growing our your natural hair as opposed to wearing a wig is a big help too.

you have nice big pretty eyes, which is big bonus!

Your whole body looks fine to me. And I do mean fine ;)

You're gonna look amazing. Give HRT about a year, and your face will look a lot rounder and softer. You have amazing hips, and with the loss of muscle tone, you'll be chasing men off with a stick (whether you like men or not). In a year on HRT, I went from a 38 band size to a 34, so you'll be fine there.

I notice that I am accepted as female a lot more often when I have just had laser done. Stubble is a major force in making people think "guy". The difference for me even just in the mirror between thinking I look male and thinking that maybe I pass can be a matter of just a little shadow. I have been doing laser for well over a year now, and I am just getting there. That part will take time, but once it's done, you'll have no problems.

I'll be surprised if you don't get close to passing after hair removal and a year or so on HRT.
Otherwise a total dead cert with a some FFS as you have some quite feminine features already (eyes in particular).

Yeah....you're fine. No issues passing at all. Now pardon me whilst I find a corner to go off and be jelly in.
