Today I finally told the last of my friends that I'm a beautiful woman and have not lost one friend threw the whole coming out even at work

A few things made me happy today:

1) Took my new glasses out for a spin and didn't get a headache. (the rose tint is never the same and can take me a couple of days to get use to)
2) Was able to ride the train without having to worry about what side the sun was coming in as I now have proper sunglasses (outside willingly two days in a row? This may become habit forming)
3) Finally bought myself a purse
4) Apart from getting a sorry mate (such an Australian expression, so I'm not sure) I was gendered correctly when titles where involved, as normal ol' me (ie jeans, ladies top, converse, hair washed then brushed)

Now if I can only work out the bathroom anxiety everything will be looking rose coloured

Cool, I think I know that guy! Was his name Smith the Smooth Mover?

Its 10am, the sun is shining. The day is full of promise, construction crews and the smell of tar fills the air. Thats right, they are doing the road outside my house finally. Nothing like driving on brand new tarmac. But, as I lay here, filled with a desire to drive on that new road, my heart tells me to just stay in bed.
my heart wins out. I dont have anywhere to be. So I am going back to sleep.

Today I met Christopher for the first time, we had lunch at a local Mexican restaurant and a really interesting conversation and later went out and tromped around in the boondocks trying to spot a large herd of Elk, over 100 head that winters close by in the lowlands of the Cascade foothills. It was a bit drizzly and they were nowhere to be seen but there was plenty of sign. Before we left there were friendly hugs, I'm pretty impressed with Chris, he's a great guy and I count him as a friend.

I love liver and onions, and have I mentioned that my mashed potatoes and gravy won a blue ribbon at the fair? Well, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit there......

I didn't cook it, a neighbor and I went up to a little café that some people I know own and had dinner. Hard to find any place with liver and onions anymore and one nice thing is they fix two slabs of it, so definitely full.

that was pretty dang nice. Although I see the elk all the time, so I'm a bit annoyed they were hiding from you. :)

Today at one of my clients. I was praised by the owner of the company in front of the office staff for my work and ability of making it a smooth move when the company relocated to a new facility. (I did all of the networking/server portion of the move.)

No wonder my purse weighed a ton. I had at least 20 bottles of nail polish in the bottom. Now it's so much lighter, so I'm happy.

I know how that goes. I narrowed down what makeup that was in my purse the other day for the same reason.

They may have had some Elk intuition that I am a former recovered Elk hunter and they probably didn't want to take any chances that I'd regress.  ;D

I now have the money to equip my truck and do hair removal and pay on the house for some time. I should be bouncing off the walls in joy but, I 'm just not feeling it.

My first ballot to vote under my legal name came today. However, the Auditor's office must be a sleep at the wheel because they also sent one out for my previous name. I guess I have to make a call and make them aware of it on Monday.
