One week to go.....
I'm not nearly as nervous now, more excited than anything :)

That is a good way to feel about it. May the week pass quickly.

Thank you! It's definitely a roller coaster of emotions, but I'm excited without a doubt.
I feel like if I blink it'll be the morning of my appointment and I'll be in the car...

I certainly felt like that the week before my first T shot.

I'm still kind of going back and forth with the whole thing?
I know that I want this change, and it'll be good for my mental well being, but it's also a very scary thing. Then again.. If I weren't afraid I should probably be concerned. I'm sure it'll be fine. I talked everything out with my therapist yesterday.  :)

Most things that are worth doing are worth being scared about.  You will be better than fine; you will be you.

That's very true! I like the way you look at things. I'm mostly excited for my voice and body shape to change; even though my hips don't stick out much.

Just out of curiosity, what does everyone recommend I document?
I think I'm going to take pictures of my face, chest, and hips to compare later on. I also planned on recording my voice for YT, but not include my face because I'm stealth and I don't want someone to accidentally stumble upon a video. Videos of my face (or rather- changes) will be private/posted here with an unlisted link.

I was extremely nervous to start T, but once I got it all of those fears went away. It took me about a half an hour before I got the guts to actually inject myself but I was surprised when I barely felt anything at all. Now it's routine and I'm so much happier that I'm on T.

I just started on Sept 9 and am on low dose (moving it up slowly, for various reasons).  I am taking a selfie and then a short video of myself before each shot, stating the dosage and how many weeks I am on T.  I am mostly interested in catching when the voice drops.  By recording each week I have a comparison from the week before.
Top Surgery: 10/10/13 (Garramone)
Testosterone: 9/9/14
Hysto: 10/1/15
Stage 1 Meta: 3/2/16 (including UL, Vaginectomy, Scrotoplasty), (Crane, CA)
Stage 2 Meta: 11/11/16 Testicular implants, phallus and scrotum repositioning, v-nectomy revision.  Additional: Lipo on sides of chest. (Crane, TX)
Fistula Repair 12/21/17 (UPenn Hospital,unsuccessful)
Fistula Repair 6/7/18 (Nikolavsky, successful)
Revision: 1/11/19 Replacement of eroded testicle,  mons resection, cosmetic work on scrotum (Crane, TX)

This is a good idea. I've been recording each week since I started and it's so cool when you start noticing changes!!
