Hi Everyone,

I'm new to Susan's, I've read on here, but only just made an account.

I'm from the UK and I've been struggling with Gender Dysphoria (MTF) for the past 2-3 months. It's made me very anxious when I don't get to express my true self and I've now come out to my wife of 3 years as questioning (This has not been taken well :( ).

I've already spoken with a private Gender Therapist who's helping guide me, but I'm still so scared about everything that's been happening, especially as it's happened quite late in life. Although looking back through my past, there were signs all along.

Hoping I can make some friends, get and give advice, and somehow feel like I'm not alone in all of this!

Hi Claire, welcome to Susan's Place! Since I'm from Boston I feel obligated to offer you a cup of tea.  >:-)
Grab a comfy chair and start making friends. See you around the site!

Hugs, Devlyn

Welcome to Susan's family
There are a few here that should have information to help.
In the meantime pull up a chair and give a look over the following links for the site info...

Thank you both for the welcomes :)

Devlyn, despite being English, I'm more of a Coffee person, especially as I'm working nights at the moment and it's 2:30am! Only 7.5 more hours I need to stay awake!

I don't drink much tea. I'm trying to get a coffee intravenous prescription though!

Hi Llano,

Welcome to our little family. Over 14500 members. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me
