Hi! I am 18 (almost 19) and I want to start hormones in 2015. Now I am debating on whether I should laser my face and neck before or after starting hrt. I am about an NW20/25 at MAC and my hair is about a level 4 dark brown (same w/ facial hair). Right now I look very androgynous and I always get called ma'am from customers at work and pass as female most of the time even w/ short hair. I feel like the one of the only things holding me back is my stupid beard and flat chest!! My beard has pretty thick and course but it's not like a "mans beard" I guess? Again I'm only 18. A place where I live is offering $800 for 5 sessions. I hate shaving and my skin is extremely sensitive!!

My questions now are:
1. Am I a good candidate for this?
2. Will it grow back years later?
3. Will I have a shadow forever after it is lasered off?

Sounds like you're a good candidate, but the laser techs will be able to tell you with more certainty since they'll see you in person.

What's killed with laser stays dead; it may not kill everything, but it's a good start.

I had it done over five years ago now and have only a handful of surviving hairs, and no, there's no "shadow" once it's all dead. That shadow is the hairs growing under the skin; no hairs = no more shadow.

Lightsheer diode for face up to 8 times first year
Than stop let hairs break through and
Switch to flash electrolysis since the roots are weakened
By laser
Cuts time in half
Lemons rubbed on face between treatments once a week
To counter pigmentation
