Hi All,

First of all, I just want to acknowledge how great this site has been for me in my journey to transition. I'm currently on my 2nd month on HRT and when I first started I felt the euphoria and the calmness that Estrogen provided to me mentally and physically.

Since then, my dose has been increased slightly on my second month. I am currently noticing that my moods have been swinging beyond my control and feeling a bit down lately. I am not sure if this has something to do with my HRT or sometimes thinking that I am not seeing the results as quickly with HRT. I am also noticing that I am overly conscious about my appearance and making sure that I pass when I am out ugh - I am getting tired of it and so are my close friends.

I'm sharing this to know if anyone had gone through this phase and any tips to cope with this change. I thank you for your time.

Carmen

Hi Carmen, welcome to Susan's from two hours west
To address your question, somewhere around my sixth week (? I think ?) I experienced some profound mood swings, I would find myself weeping uncontrollably for no apparent reason. The rollercoaster eventually evened out, and calm returned. I am in a much better place now, a lot more even tempered, emoting appropriately and loving it ;)

hugs,

Thanks ladies. Your support has been amazing. Today is better - I think the early morning prayer had an impact on me. I know better days are coming.

Love and Respect,

Carmen Kate
