When you're standing and they are hanging down, the canals are almost directly above. Just keep that in mind as you are laying down.

That makes sense, just like matching plumb bobs!  :D

Yes, and a bonus: keep playing with your plumb-bobs, and you'll discover an inclinometer nearby...

;D
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

I can't get them up into any kind of passage, either. And what's more, I've been on HRT for... nine months now.

I can't tuck as per those instructions, as I no longer have proper inguinal canals due to surgery.

But the truth is, I don't tuck at all. Hormone-induced shrinkage has meant that clothing choices are not an issue - and I don't find too many people staring at my crotch..

I think that last part is quite important..

I used the two pairs of knickers approach and found that boyfriend briefs were the best for tucking. I would skate as well and while I would need to re adjust every so often I did pretty much get away with it

For an alternative method, I wear a little girls' brief (size 10, and my waist ca. 27 inch). It is very cheap and endurable, and my favorite brand is Hines. You can purchase it at Wal-mart or Target.

Get Bikini or Hipster style Panties about 1 size smaller than you need. Tuck your gibblets then pull the front of them up first, then the rear and then you can fix for comfort. I've found that Hipster style has worked best for me.

I have always tucked while standing up.  I feel like it'd be harder for me laying down, but haven't experimented much. I just push the 2 bits up with one hand, pull the other part back freeing your first hand at the same time) with the other hand and pull up my panties with the hand that is now free. Everything just kinda stays in place for me.

I have not worn panties that were small on me, generally I just wear the bikini style cotton panties that come a pack. This has always worked super well for me and I'm always comfy. I tuck pretty much 24/7 including when swimming, skateboarding and various other physical activities with little to no issues. Every once in a while I find myself in an emergency situation I need to re-tuck, but since I always stand up while tucking its generally (as long as clothing permits) easy to pull off without people noticing.

Now that I have been on HRT somewhere between 5 and 6 months, it has become easier and more reliable than it was pre-HRT. I think this is mainly due to stuff getting smaller and remaining inactive throughout the day.

I use this method with using pantie hose and tube sock and it has worked like a charm for me, so comfortable, so flat in front.. and easy to place back after using bathroom....
