Just did my first injection! Plus a question

I mean literally, a minute ago. I've been excited and slightly nervous all day, I'm looking forward to seeing the changes that come my way

Question: despite knowing I need to aspirate, and being reminded I need to aspirate, the slight shock of giving myself an injection caused me to forget! But there was practically no blood, so chances are I did not hit a vein, right? Just hoping for a little reassurance...

Some people have been told there is no need. I will therefore venture to say that you will be fine.

Accidentally injecting into a vein is considered quite rare. Aspirating is still a good idea if you're doing IM (it's not needed with subcutaneous), because if you did manage to inject directly into your bloodstream, it can cause some bad problems like an embolism. From the oil, not the T itself. Just try to remember next time.

Congrats, Polo! I started on 9/9/14. Are you doing full dose? For some reason I am thinking that you were looking to masculinize but not necessary live as male?

Must be someone else, Brett, bc I've been living as a male for over a year lol, which made procuring hrt pretty quick and painless. I'm starting with a three quarter dose, but plan on going to full in a few weeks. But thank you! I'm pretty excited about it

haven't noticed anything yet except more energy (I think lol)
