Hi,

I am a men but I like to wear women's high heel shoes in public. I am very shy so it is not possible to me "just wear them and go out". I think that one solutions is wear in very androgyny style. So I picked up some clothes and I like to know your opinion for these clothes. Does they work so that if some body quickly look at you he/she cant say are you a woman or men. Of course I have to wear also some kind eyewear to hiding my manly eyes...

Hello Arnaud - I'm androgynous (as I would say) and this means for me I feel female as well as male. So of course I want to express both of my sides. For my male side this is of course no problem. But I made the experience that also for my female side the problem is not as big as I thought. First of all I like longer fingernails and have been at a nailstudio (don't know the correct word but think you know what i mean). Only three of my 90 colleagues made a remark - one asked me why? and the second only made a remark because his wife owns such a studio, and a young lady showed me hers - fresh done - and told me that she thinks it looks good. As you I like high(er) heels -  so I started to wear bootees with heels between 4 and 7 cm  - and - imagine - nobody made a remark. Of course I took those from my shoe collection not looking extraordinary female - I have to admit. What I want to say is - I didn't changed my clothing in total. I would assume that this would be even more obviuos and interesting for the people as the way I did. My normal dress (Jeans / Shirt e.g.) and the shoes I like. If you want to "hide" the heels a little bit choose e.g. a jeans a little bit longer as you normally wear.

So my suggestion would be - if you have no problem with you appearance as man - wear your "normal" style and the shoes you like.  Start with heels and not high heels and see how you feel with it and see how people react - if they do at all.

Regards Nicnique

This forum is "Androgyne Talk - A place for those who identity as Androgyne".

Androgyne is a non-binary gender identity... not a fashion statement.

Would a mod kindly move this thread to "Crossdresser Talk" or to the "Fashion" forum?
The poster has a much better chance of having his question about wearing women's high heel shoes responded to there.

Thanks!

Androgyne.
I am not Trans-masculine, I am not Trans-feminine.
I am not Bigender, Neutrois or Genderqueer.
I am neither Cisgender nor Transgender.
I am of the 'gender' which existed before the creation of the binary genders.
