Thanks for sharing!

I'm a bit of a late starter at 34 and with only 3 months of HRT I'm hoping things will improve, I'm not going to do any surgical work for another year when I have a better idea of where I'll end up.

Thanks for all the great info and I must say you look stunning!

You are so sweet Antonia! Thank you so much. I started HRT when i was 17. My results are really unremarkable when compared to many girls i know.  I looked like pure ->-bleeped-<- prior to my first complete FFS with Dr. Ousterhout in 2005. I might add that i have also had cheek implants since then and another complete FFS just this September 25th with Dr. Deschamps Braly and Dr. Ousterhout together again.  FYI, when i say "complete" FFS i am referring to what we in the community use to call the "works," which means forehead contouring, brow lift, scalp advance, rhinoplasty, brow shave, lip lift, jaw contouring, chin contouring, sliding genioplasty (in my case) and removal of my adams apple.  I had all of these procedures redone on 09/25/14 for further feminization but added a few procedures, including, permanent lip augmentation (dermis from my forehead was sutured into my upper lip), umbilical fat grafting, some acne depressions and sebaceous hyperplasias removed, hairline reshaped and neck tightened and liposuctioned. I will add that after my first FFS in 2005 i had to have a mini lift and some skin removed under my chin to firm up some elasticity that had developed due to the dramatic elevation of my chin. Developing a double chin as a result of dramatic FFS is a very common problem but is a small price to pay for a feminine face and is easily resolvable. I do have a scar from the skin removal.  I would love to show you before pics but they are quite embarrassing and unfortunately there are some floating around the internet.

Anyway, you look fantastic and i am sure you will look even better as your transition progresses. I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks Barbie,

I went out with around 40 friends for Halloween and we had a blast, Toronto has a pretty good trans community and there were probably 10 of us there transitioning/transitioned, I'd post group shots but we also had some cross dressers that aren't out and stealth trans girls so I don't want to out anyone.

I feel very lucky to have made so many friends in the local community, we all draw inspiration and support from each other and usually meet every 2 weeks for a chat and some drinks :)

I'm too averse to cold and with the way Illinois weather is I never find a good time for tights. It goes from way too hot to so cold I need something at least as thick as jeans. I just can't make that sacrifice for fashion. :P

Ok Shantel, Yesterday you suggested on the "Do I Look, or Could I Pass, as Female? 3.0" thread to post here. With great fear I am doing that now. Last night was a milestone in my transition and I celebrated by going out. I did this selfie when I got back around 1am. It is low resolution, but I really like the way I looked. I am developing a style now, which is like so totally me. Still, I don't think of the word "fabulous" when I look at myself.

Stacy, have you experienced much sensation loss or hair loss from repeated access into the forehead? Is the surgeon following the same scars or creating new ones? This is relevant to me because I'm having surgery that requires cutting through the same coronal scar that was made in 1996/7. Anyway, don't touch anything else, you look great!

Thanks, Shantel.

I am now in Nagasaki, Japan, drinking beer every night.

I have some headache, as I drank beer, whisky and wine last night. I guess wine is the cause.
