hi everyone, I am currently trying to figure out a new place to move, after transitioning I would like to start my life over in a new place, after living in Lake Tahoe for most of my life I do know I'm a mountain girl at heart and would really love to find a place in the mountains thats accepting for trans women! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Once you find one please let me know as well. I live in the Rockies and the only reason I am not jumping on taking hormones and all that is because I feel like I am not sure how the responses I would get being a mtf

I would like that too.  If we had enough of us move to the same place we could start our own town.  Anyone ever started a town before?

I'm originally from the Rockies lived there the first 18 years of my life have been considering moving to Denver but I'm just not much of a big city girl, 1 bonuses of Denver you're still close to the mountains

I live in West Virginia and the TG support group I go to is in western Maryland. Several members come from even further western MD, which is mountainous. OK hilly (2,000 ft) by Rocky Mountain standards. Nevertheless, MD has trans protection law in place and western MD which is hilly has trans folks.

If you got a map handy, look in the panhandle area along the I-68 and I-70 corridor from Frostburg to like Gaithersberg in the east.

San Luis Obispo, California is a nice place. It's not far from the ocean and it's in a mountainous region. There's also a transgender clinic and support group being run since the 90's (Tranz Central Coast). I hope to move there if I ever get the chance  .

Living in a friendly mountain town with a ski resort is a dream of mine. Can we all just pitch in to buy a ski resort? 

I may be biased, but check out Park City, Utah. I love it here.

A ski resort would be awesome, and during the summer the guys can turn it into a dude ranch   

Check out Eureka Springs Arkansas.  The town is full of artists and creative people.  A transgender person would attract very little attention there.  It's too far south for skiing, but is certainly hilly enough.
