I've heard that being biologically female recently you pee from the front and this really confused me as I pee from the back. I know this for a fact as I've used an stp with a medicine spoon. So just wondering, where do yoy pee from? 

I pee from my mini pee hole?

But is that at the front or from where the vg hole is... I know this a really weird question, my gf is super weird and even finds this too weird

The anatomy down there generally features two holes. A vagina, and a urethra. The urethra is where urine comes out, and it is generally a rather small hole, not necessarily that easy to see. The urethra is positioned closer to the clitoris (so one might consider it "in the front" and the vagina "in the back"), basically inbetween the clitoris and the vagina. The urethra and vagina aren't very far apart. It's unlikely that you pee from the vagina, unless somehow the urethra is in the vagina or you have some manner of fistula (basically an opening between two parts of the body that aren't supposed to be connected, causing things to leak across where they shouldn't - some people have vaginal/anal fistulas for example).

Not sure if it would be permissible per board rules to link it directly, since it does contain genital nudity, albeit in a medical sort of context. But if you go on Wikipedia, the page for "vagina" has all the parts labelled.

It's not a really weird question, by the way. The fact that in some cultures the human body is taboo is the weird thing. People should be able to ask questions/have discussions about how the human body works.

Hi Blink, this helped me regarding that part's anatomy since I never dare to look at mine or get information online (as well as never attending the days where my Health class taught these things) because I am very repulsed.  Thank you.  Since this is the topic, I was wondering how I can (surgically) have that useless hole closed for good?

I hear ya, I don't want to look at that part of my body either. What you're looking for is called a vaginectomy, sometimes also called a colpectomy.

My urethra is actually placed in the entrance to my vaginal opening so yes, I pee in the back end of things which DOES make me nervous for a lot of reasons using STP devices for fear they won't sit correctly.
I wish my urethra was more front oriented and I worry if I ever have bottom surgery I'm going to be paying extra just to lengthen and move my urethra. It sucks ><

There was actually a great scene about this issue in Orange is the New Black, where Sophia (the transwoman character) gives a lesson on the female anatomy to the other inmates. It's kind of ironic, but makes sense that she has had to do the research on the topic due to her transition process. I really liked that the subject was brought up in that way on a popular show.

And I like that it is being discussed here.

Btw, depending on the angle of your urethra and the shape of everything around it, urine trajectory can go a lot of different ways. Even if something has just temporarily shifted position a little from sitting at an odd angle.

It's usually not coming out from the vagina or behind the vagina, but in front of it. However, the urethra may point back, making the urine bounce off other areas further back. That seems more likely to me (not a doctor) than unusual anatomy, but both are probably possibilities.

My thoughts exactly! It's interesting how many females actually don't know their own anatomy, either due to dysphoria, or from a parent/teacher being too uncomfortable to explain it.

Omg I am cringing right now. Yes never ever ever ever!

In the normal sitting position I pee straight down.  I have a couple of STP's and can only make them work if I lower my jeans a little so the pee can flow out.  The zipper doesn't go low enough with them in the normal position.  I don't know if this is the case for ftm's or is my urethra a little farther back.  The opening is between my clitoris and vagina, don't like using those words when referring to me.

I once heard a (mildly dirty) joke about pregnancy resulting from anal sex (pretty much not gonna happen). The punchline was like, "of course it happens, where do you think lawyers come from?"

Anyone else ever sit to pee and shot it all over the front of the seat and floor? That has happened to me a couple of times, right after waking up. I assume it's just because I slept weird so the positioning of things was off-kilter.

Here's hoping that STP devices keep getting improved so that they work better for all urethral arrangements and variations...

I agree! Personally speaking, we were never taught much about female anatomy in school, but did briefly cover male anatomy. wtf? I want to make a Female Anatomy 101 video on my channel someday. Even I'm still surprised by my own anatomy sometimes and it's shameful! I mean what, I totally thought my urethra was on my clit! It's not like I've watched myself pee since I was a kid, and I can't bend over far enough to double check, har har.

I thought of that Orange is the New Black episode too. Great show.

Technically the vagina. However. Bear in mind it is quite possible for pregnancy to occur even if the penis and/or semen never goes directly into the vagina. That's not ideal conditions for those actually trying to get pregnant, but it's still possible. So for those who want to avoid pregnancy, best to make sure penises and ejaculate thereof stay away from that area altogether, unless reliable birth control methods are being used.

Except for urinary catheters, or perhaps some other kinds of medical instruments being used by a doctor, nothing is supposed to go into the urethra.
