How great does it feel to get all new clothes? I did last night and I feel super energized. My grandmother did comment that my style was "a bit masculine" but as usual I took it as a compliment/played it off like I just don't care. The professional world is masculine!

Since today I have jury duty for the first time, and soon I'm supposed to start a new job, I got some nice, business-casual men's clothes (including a sweater-vest, which is just my geeky style).

Still have to wear women's pants because of my waist shape, but I got some that look pretty neutral. No pockets, though, I hate that.

So anyway I feel great and may post pictures if I feel good enough about then later :)

Others feel free to talk about your awesome new clothes here too :)

I only got 5 new men T-shirts. I have yet to get new jeans, shoes and sweaters and won't be able to get them until possibly December.

Back early this year in January when I came out to my husband we went to the thrift store and got me some new clothes and I was in heaven finally owning some male clothes I could call my own.
About into March was really the fun part of throwing away all my female clothing. That was great turning point for me. Though I did feel a bit sad that some things like the $70 boots I had just gotten the Nov before would be going(gave to a friend) and I still have the wool coat my mother bought me 2 winters ago just because I'd feel awful parting with something she got me. (I'm weird that way)

I run a FtM blog where I pour my experiences out for others to read. Check it out!

I went shopping for men's clothes for the first time about 10 days ago, and I only bought a few shirts. It's weird now because they're all I want to wear but I'm pretty sure it doesn't make much sense to just cycle between 3 shirts.. I need to get me at least a pair of jeans but I was confused with the sizes so maybe next time..

This is really interesting for me because before I made the decision that I'm just going to dress the way I want to (at least on campus where my family isn't around) I didn't care about the way I presented myself one bit. My friend that came shopping with me had to comfort me at one point because I had gotten distressed over the fact that I didn't know how exactly I wanted to dress. It's like I walked in there expecting to come out with a newfound sense of style. So here I am at 20 years old with not a clue of how I want to dress myself, just that wearing masculine stuff makes me happy and more confident.
I'm trying to be somebody, I'm not trying to be somebody else.

Dude, the other day I got socks. Like a friggin six pack of white ankle socks.

I'm still beaming about it. They are unabashedly men's socks and I feel like I've gotten away wih something slick as hell. It's awesome. New clothes are awesome.

Yay socks!

I remember the first time I got men's shoes, that was another really good time for me. Frustrating as heck to find styles in stores in a size 6.5 though.

i did the same thing today, with my grandma, who didnt talk about it much just mentioned "in the mens section again" and i got three new button ups and three new t shirts, along with new socks and other miscelaneous stuff

same thing, felt great. A little disapointed in the clothes because im more of a colorful popping person but other than that it was fun.

I've pretty much always worn men's clothing, or women's clothes made to look like mens. Then a few years back my sister commented on how saggy the butt of my pants looked. They sag because I have to buy a waist size too big in order to fit them over my stupid hips. So over the last few years, I've gotten more women's jeans, dress pants, etc. Now I'm conflicted. I only have two pairs of men's pants and I'm wearing them all the time. I can't decide if pants hugging my figure is part of me not passing....
Either way, I have to start hitting some thrift stores for "new" pants. Thrift stores are the best since you can grab a bunch of stuff and spend like, fifteen bucks. Ties are super cheap, only like $2.50 or so.

P.S. I freaking love sweater vests!
